Yeesh! I like PB WAY more than I thought I would. Classic BMW color and it looks fantastic on the 2.

Edit: Jonesing4a2 just noticed you’re local. Going to need to see this beauty at some point!

Also installed Cermaic Pro Kavaca PPF on the carbon fiber roof in their clear-matte finish so it looks great with the frozen PB paint.
I'm a fan of Kavaca ppf as a well as coating from Ceramic Pro. Have both on mine. Solid choice.

AZG87 glad to hear it! They were the closet installer to me (4 miles away as opposed to detailers domain who is 45 minutes away). I’ve seen lots of great comments about detailers domain but chose to go with the closer option so I could get a 4 mile in after dropping the car off 😀.

Ceramic Pro had lots of good documentation on their product and the installer had good reviews so figured it was a pretty safe choice.

Installing BW front tension rod bearings. It's become a bit more involved than I anticipated, but overall not too bad. The curb descent dampers have to be removed, and of course, BMW rivets those one. So I 3D printed some adapters that are threaded so that I can reinstall the dampers with a 6mm screw.

Also, if you do your own work and don't have a digital torque wrench with an angle torque feature, do yourself a favor and get one. I've had a set of GearWrench digital torque wrenches for a few years. It has been surprisingly accurate and consistent with the torque angle feature. The front tension rod bolts are 68NM + 180. I manually mark the bolts so I know I got the angle right, and the picture is post torque + angle. I use the torque wrench to let me know when I've turned the 180 degrees, and it's quite accurate.

Dr Beasley’s Matte Film Coating on the paint, Dr Beasley’s Film Coating on everything else.

Looks freakin amazing!

Dr. Beasleys Matte ceramic coat all completed. Only took two hours to hand wash the car and fully ceramic coat it.

Also did the morning grocery store run.
