Today's class session is from 12:30pm-8:30pm, so I'm guessing the wet lab will take place after lunch (….which is around 4:30pm). I wish I was at home in my onesie with a pizza.

Hmm, I like this. I'll tell my wife I have a random "business" trip that requires me out on the West Coast for several days with delinquents...err I mean, car enthusiasts, that will have full police supervision.

There are some pretty sweet AirBnB's that could accommodate a healthy amount of people to include pool, hot tub, BBQing, and plenty of driveway space...

OP: what's the deal with drinking and driving? If I have 1 beer and get pulled over but am under the legal limit in my state will I go to jail?

If the law enforcement official can prove impairment, yep! The admin per se limit doesn't have to be met.

Same with doctors. Did a beer bus tour with a bunch of them, me and three doctors carpooled to the bus and on the way there, one of them breaks out this pill bottle and starts handing us each one.

They all looked at it, recognized it, and popped it no problem. Me, a little more hesitant, was like...well, what is it? Turns out it was nothing at all really, just something to help prevent the hangover feeling in the morning. Can't remember what it was called. I don't think I drank enough anyways to have a hangover, but I guess it worked.

One of my Sarge buddies, I was giving a hard time this pm because he walked right by my in .99 store. He was looking for the "weiner wagger" who ran into the store. They found him in the ceiling. . .

Anyway, I was telling him "Right about now I should be doing a wet dui lab"

"Over in Oxnard, they invited me too!"

"No, I was SUPPOSED to be down at LASD"

So there were gonna be a few more than average on the roads today

My buddy at Oxnard P.D. told me about their's today too. He just started with them; he goes 10-8 on Tuesday. He left LASD and was my academy classmate.

Party with several doctors down here in S. FL. My wife's cousin is an ER doc. Nothing like drinking all day w/him, watching him slip off a floating doc we're cleaning, and slice his forearm up on baranacles. Then watching his cousin (also ER doc) stitch him up on kitchen table while drinking vodka (crazy Russians) while I'm sipping on bourbon

My prediction rate was within .02% on my evals, so I passed. It's pretty amazing how communicative the body is when impaired on drugs and/or alcohol. Tomorrow is the academic portion of the final and I have field certification August 12th-14th at one of the local P.D.'s.
