When I first saw this render I could only focus on the combination of the headlights, grill and sensor. Probably just the way it was rendered but this face looks incredibly silly

Jobs was a talented visionary and with the right market timing and a lot of luck, he was able to introduce some revolutionary and successful products but he was not some yahweh that could of somehow defy engineering physical limitations. To stay on topic, all the M2 naysayers needs to let it go; the specs and manual transmission is going to sell itself. For first two years of its release, there is going to be a huge feeding frenzy, so even if you so choose to hate-buy one, it's going to be sold out like the PS5, anyways.. |

I do believe the iPhone 12 design would be better if the man was still alive. It would also operate better. Having said that it’s still pretty bad ass. |

Very upsetting as I thought the M2 would be saved from the G80 styling debacle, but it seems like my F80 will be the last BMW I end up buying. Finger's crossed the LCI pulls back some of the ugly and makes the M2 something I'd like to buy.

Wait, the G87 M2 will not go into production any earlier than December 2022 and right now - based on speculation - you are already writing it off and hoping that "the LCI pulls back some of the ugly and makes the M2 something I'd like to buy" scheduled to go into production in April 2025 ?

True! It's not as bad as the G8*, so there's that going for it!
Quote:
I remember seeing the preproduction spy shot of the G8* grill and everyone hoped that it wouldn't be the actual design, but then it ended up being exactly the same in the production car, so I'm not really holding out much hope that things will change! Here's to it infact not being what we see here! |

The amount of anguish and drama from camo photos is amusing. I suppose that is a sign of the times with internet overreaction to anything and everything but what ever happened to waiting for the final product before drawing conclusions?

I agree. It makes me wish I was a practicing psychiatrist. I could’ve made a fortune off of people from this forum just on the G80 launch alone.

I haven't been active on BMW car forums for about a decade since E46fanatics.com and it sure is an eye opener these days with these new age BMW fanboys. I don't recall seeing this much hysteria back in the E36/E46 era. We have folks going on a year now with their incessant ramblings.
