The inlets are probably out of stock or backordered. People have been warned on here multiple times about extended delays due to carbon parts.

The sooner the better! We tell our clients prior to status 150 while other centers state prior to status 155.

With a caveat that waiting that long/to that status could cause super extended hold times at the port, or even in Mexico, writing on parts. I would suggest no later than status 150 to avoid any delays/extended delays beyond what is normally faced for the time for port installation(s).

My car has been at the VPC for about a week waiting on HAS install. I knew this was a risk and added it. I've been waiting since last October. I can wait a little longer.

So I got my updated VIR that has the port installed items. Everything looks correct. My garage site updated as well but one line item looked odd. Can anyone confirm the CF front air inlets ZL6 are referred to as M Performance Dive Planes on the my garage site? Everything else lined up but that one did not and that's all I can think of that it's just called something different there and I hadn't heard it called that before.

All of the above answers will yield the best results but you can add up to the day before it arrives at the port of arrival (POA). You maybe waiting a bit, especially nowadays when everybody is waiting. Add your own exponent for any Carbon based parts.

I doubt it. I've been trying to get one for quite a while.
Heard today from someone in the UK that BMW has not released any to the US yet. My CA said there is a 70+ dealer waitlist to get them.
The UK guy had 10 in stock. Only shot would be to order one from overseas but they're priced higher (~$3000 + shipping). Or keep on waiting.

Some guy based in Taiwan was trying to sell me a rep for $900 shipped. I'm all for cheaper reps but he seemed pretty sus, especially when he told me BMWs launch photos were his personal photos at his shop in Taiwan

No, I wanted it, it has never been an option each time my CA pulled up the list. I specced the lip on because it was the only one on the list, and thought it was actually the flow-through.
I noticed it after production, but since the flow through one isn't even available I'm still happy with it.

I was really going for the E36 look.

Just joined! It’s Z2F and the 2023 price was $2,095 USD. I’m not sure if it’s increased but that’s what the sheet showed from a dealer. Looking forward to checking out the forum!. G87 build coming!
