Dealer took my specs today to get the order submitted! Gave them a deposit check in January and I'm first in line.

Can still make changes, but said Alpine White, Black w/ M highlights and 6 speed. Also liking Toronto Red.

3 months was the "old" timeline - pre-Covid, pre-supply chain issues, etc. Good luck getting a car that fast now.
I do the ordering for my BMW store. 3 months is very do-able. Especially out of Mexico.

Yeah, however isn't the official launch April 2023? If it's delivered to dealer in March, they just hold until release right?

I think the builds will start in December if we go by the Canadian Suggested Retail Price Guide which is effective December 1st.

Whether the car is manufactured in December 2022 or March 2023: all will be embargoed for delivery until the official release date in April 2023. Cars may be on display prior to release date, but won't be driven away by their owners.

Same happened with the F87 M2: all embargoed for delivery till April 16, 2016, no matter the production date. Only very few dealers violated the embargo. For example this March 2016 delivery: the post got subsequently redacted indicating "BMW Munich" as reason (i.e. BMW HQ stepped in): https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1240072.

See also for example: https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1227207 ("No Deliveries Before 16th Of April - I Am #^$%&@#$%&@#%"). I had warned him that early delivery wouldn't be allowed (https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...4#post19209944), but he didn't believe me (https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...5#post19213475).

Perfect! I am shooting for an early May delivery. Winter is long here in Edmonton.

Were the Carbon Buckets an option? I think I've heard some guys saying that those weren't available for order in North America yet . . .

They are in Canada but only w/ the M Carbon Pack (ZBN) which is 13,000/12500 CAD.

He thought they were, but they didn't show on the list. I don't want them so I said not to bother checking on carbon seats or roof.

It is looking like they are only going to be available via the Carbon Fiber Package (LJJ) which will more than likely carry and exuberant price tag. Read the fine print on the bottom right. Note, this document was provided to me via a BMW North America representative yesterday at the Performance Center.

Yep… Probably a typo because it also states that the G87 comes standard with the M seatbelts yet the US model that was on display yesterday at the performance center did not have them.

This leaflet looks like early rough draft.. The pricing structure and standard equipment in the US has been revised since this was created, so wouldn't put much weight in it until something more current is published.

BMW NA typically does not display a rough draft document for the general public to view. I grant you the legal department looked at this. The pricing structure is not even there. TBD seems fairly logical given that we have yet to see retail pricing. Note that this same leaflet was on display at this mornings Cars and Coffee event held at the BMW Car club of America headquarters in Greer, South Carolina.

Lastly I don’t feel they going to display a document for two days in a row where more than 2000+ people have now viewed it. Reality is if nothing set in stone then do not display anything at all.
Canadian prices have been "set". There is of course a disclaimer that the price can change (probably will).

MSRP is always subject to change. BMW typically has a price increase annually during Q1.

You do not have to purchase locally. Find a Center willing to work with you and then take delivery at the Performance Center.

When the original M2 was about the drop, the BMW website was littered with errors..

One memorable one was Open/Close Block Gate.

M2 N55 Closed Deck reference removed from BMW USA Website https://f87.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1351717

Just saying, I get that a conglomerate large as BMW probably retain lawyers for their lawyers so no one f-up but history has shown that they are not impervious to the occasional mishap here and there, some are even kind of humorous..

The info in this document is more or less accurate but the reason I assumed it was an earlier version is because the pricing is missing for most items we have a number for already.

"Non-refundable deposit" is an oxymoron and illegal in many if not most states.
