It's my auto daily. The new M2 is brute power for sure, and while the chassis is more stable then the M2C and can put more power down, thanks to all of that brute power you can still overpower the chassis and the car becomes very tactile and lively again. It can also transform into a very comfortable cruiser with everyset to chill mode. It's every bit as comfortable as my G42 and as enjoyable as my R34 GTRs. That's what so impressive about the G87, it's dynamic range from cruiser to drivers car with x-factor smiles on your face driving.. and I haven't even pushed it hard yet, I'm still running it in: eg: the car hasn't even been in Sports Plus settings yet, just Standard and Sports.

Heh fine, I'll give it a couple more months I guess..
The plan was to keep the M2 for 18 months and then move to a 4 door car... this might just bring forward the 18 months timeline but yeh you lot are right - hold tight for now. |

I also need a 4 door at some stage, for now we use my wife's X6 (another amazing BMw by the way) ...If the price gap was a bit closer between the M2 and M3 then perhaps, but for an extra 40-50-60k, for the same platform with 2 more doors is super hard to justify. Its's worth having your time ND enjoyment in an M2 and then go to the 2025 M3 with the upgraded HP figures, etc, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if some M2 tuning will roll into a future M3, M4 also and those cars become a bit more lively.. |

Saw a ZB in the wild today. It was street parked so I got a chance to check out the tires. PS4s! |

Crappy garage pic for now, the forum software keeps rotating it.
I quite like this car. In the two days I've had it I've gotten a lot of positive comments, including about the colour which is amazing out in the sunlight. Anyone who has seen pictures and thought it was ugly changes their mind when they see it in person. It seems a lot more civilised than my F87 Competition. I'm not sure if I like that yet. Not crashing over bumpy Sydney roads is welcomed, but the exhaust burbles that I always enjoyed are much more muted in this car. I'll guess I'll know more once I'm past the run in period and can properly explore its potential. The interior is an absolute quantum leap over the old car. It feels a lot more like luxury performance. |

Hi guys, I was hoping that someone with a car already could tell me the distance between the rear number plate screw holes. I have a 3 letter NSW plate and hoping it will cover the 2 holes. The plate width is 254mm.
