Orange County, that's probably why lol. 4200 is not bad at all. Are you doing windows at all?

There's probably another thread for this, but I'll throw my quote into the mix as well.

$8k full STEK PPF, or $3k full front, $450 roof, $450 rockers, and $1200 rear quarters - in the SF Bay Area.

Mine is about 6k for ppf full front, roof and black accents then ceramic coating on entire car and wheel faces (wheels are temporary but still lol) and full tint. I can piece meal it out for a tad less across a few places but it's a very high end shop with excellent quality that's done great work for me on other cars in the past. There's another shop I work with that also does a good job on tint and ppf and would be slightly less but then would have to take it separately for ceramic and be without the car longer. This way it's a one stop shop drop off Monday morning and pick up Wed afternoon or Thursday morning depending.

So you're applying ceramic coat on top of the PPF? I was under the impression that PPF would offer similar / better protection, so why the ceramic on top?

Ceramic should go on top to make sure color + shine is equal all around (sometimes even with Xpel you have a chance of getting a different shine from front to back unless whole car is PPF).

Also- Ceramic helps when washing. Water runs right off it so you'd want that on top of the PPF. A good shop will instruct you how they conduct it. Xpel has a ceramic coating to be applied on top of their PPF solution meant for this exact use case.

Same, Ceramic all windows. Not sure I am thinking 20% all around and 70% on the windshield for a slight tint. I hear great things about XPEL Prime XR Plus (Lifetime Nationwide Warranty, Infrared Blocking from 94-98%, Shades ranging from 5% (limo) to 70% (almost clear), Heat Blocking from 52% - 71% TSER)

Yep this. The hydrophobic properties of ceramic on top of the protection of ppf. Best of both worlds.

What is the cut-off section next to ETA? I see Aquarius Leader cut-off on Oct 19th in Port H with ETA 25th but arrives in Mexico on the 20th?

Good question. No clue, but I think the date to pay attention is the 25th since it takes around 4 days to sails from LC to LB/PH

I believe the cut off date is the last day the shipping manifest for a certain vehicle could be processed with the shipping company. Meaning the intent to ship a certain car must be transmitted to NYK by then.

This is the case with container cargo too. There is a gate-in cutoff date, and if you’re late for that you get put on the next vessel. I imagine it’s the same way with cars.

The Virgo is on the water. Has anyone found out they are on it yet? I just called BMW NA, and no update there.
