Well actually, I didn't ask her to have sex as I never really do that. Though McMuffin pushed me to flirt more...so if it works out I owe him a beer.

Overall though, I rarely ever ask a girl.Usually after I get a girl to hint that she's interested, I'll hint that I'm interested. but I'll do whatever i can to not say it myself, I'll always have her bring it up/mention it/say it etc.
Girls are used to guys asking for their numbers/asking them out/asking for sex. Make the girl ask for you. I haven't asked a girl for her number in a while; I simply mention I find her attractive/pretty/whatever word I come up with that sounds like a compliment and then give her a business card and tell her she can email/text me.
It's less intimidating than calling and less often will a guy give her his number versus asking for it. I learned this from my brother.

the 105lb girl is still convinced I was drunk when I sent the text. but she said she's down to get KBBQ sometime next week.
