Looks legit. Not sure about the hood but otherwise pretty cool.

Looks a lot less legit when it's someone taking a photo of their monitor. The bumper headlight cutout still doesn't fit the profile of the headlights. The artist just smoothed it over.

Good point. At least it’s a much better render than the other one using the leaked bumper pic.

I get the "leak" didn't have any lower grills, but come on someone throw some in there in these renders.

The design direction as of late for BMW is all over the place. :/

Once everything goes EV it will be more difficult to get overly creative with front ends because of the necessity to have low drag coefficients. Maybe BMW is trying to get as creative as possible while they can.

I don't like this square bumper design, it looks like they gave-up trying, so I hope it doesn't make it to production.

Looking good. I will be very very tempted by a simple no option alpine white 6MT for the lifetime garage keeper.

Also LoL the BMW guys are absolutely trolling us with the X5M in the background there. Epic! One of the kidneys seems to both have vertical and horizontal slats.

Well played BMW

Bimmerpost …….. "what not diagonal kidney slats!!!!????"

I agree. It makes me wish I was a practicing psychiatrist. I could've made a fortune off of people from this forum just on the G80 launch alone.
Haha.

Tell me that emotion you feel here, here…and here?

We don't know that for certain. Only thing that is a fact is the horizontal slatted grills.

They HAVE to get rid of the gloss black crap though, I hated that on the G82 I had for all of seven weeks lol.

That's because the E46 was arguably one of the best-looking BMWs of all time, hence no reason for "hysteria" over its looks. The current M3/M4 are a complete disaster, even fanbois who like the car otherwise cringe about its hideous appearance. The New 2 already has a lot of critics cringing, including original X5 designer Frank Stephenson.

Let's not forget that was 20 years ago when these forums and social media were a tenth of what they are now. We've also become spoiled and entitled as a culture who love to bitch.
