Funny I've always been an "underdog" type of guy, and I didn't happen to like Max as his behaviour is unsportsmanlike, and his supporters are just out of this world (and my feed!), and who would've thought I'm sitting here rooting for an underdog now that Max is the leader… it'd be a nice turn of tables if Lewis wins both and wins the WDC by 4 points…

Dunno, he tried it in Brazil in turn 4. It was either block or take each other out. It hurts HAM way more than him. The only reason they didn’t collide was because HAM was ready for it. I don’t think Max would do it necessarily on purpose, but heat of the moment/my WDC is gone as the silver arrow goes by again. Who knows at that point, can’t wait to find out and I hope it does come down to the last race winner take all.

I think a collision is more likely than not if they are both fighting for the first corner. I could see neither of them conceding. I guess it depends on the Abu Dhabi track reconfiguration (done so to improve overtaking), perhaps leading in the first corner will not be as necessary.

A collision, even a blatant one, would not lead to Max getting banned from the sport. Michael Schumacher purposely turned into Jacques Villeneuve in the 1997 title deciding race and was stripped of his championship points for the year. Of course it was fortunate that he didn't take out JV (which would have won him the championship).

(Ignoring the infamous Senna/Prost collisions -- I don't recall either driver being punished).

Max got the fastest lap on new soft tires, while Ham had his old tires, which he can't switch because his gap to Max was only 6 seconds or so. He would have, if he could, to get the fastest lap, which considering his race pace, would be most likely faster than Max's so there was nothing weird about Max at all.

Schumacher got his 2nd place in the WDC removed. So if Max were to do that, and it's blatant as these examples were, Max would lose the WDC.

And Schumacher was convinced JV turned into him (per Ross Brawn) - his first reaction in Jerez was to get JV disqualified!

Again trying to gaslight the w12's pu to make max seem like a super human driver. By your logic max was only good this year because the rb16b started off leagues ahead of everything else. So to beat Lewis you need to FIA to knee cap Mercedes, and redbull to make the fastest car on the field.

RB has alpha tauri as their grunt team and look how fast they are with old rb parts. Imagine if mercedes buys out williams and makes them their junior team and changes their design concept to a merc style car, then there would be 4 mercs blasting down the field.

I think the only way RB has a chance now, if all things are clean going down the last 2 races, is to take a grid penalty on max and give him a new ICE and run that thing full beans. But I really don't know if the honda pu is capable of out putting what the mercede's pu does on full space ship mode.
