From your cited example: 2.5Measurement of electromagnetic fields Magnetic field strength was measured as a surrogate for electromagnetic field strength. There is a direct relationship between magnetic and electromagnetic field strength which permits the use of this surrogate measurement. The magnetic field meter used was a calibrated ELT 400 (Narda-STS, Pfullingen, Germany) and a B-field probe (three orthogonal coils; total sensing area = 100 cm2; frequency detection range 1 Hz to 400 kHz). We used a probe with a large sensing area in case the fields measured were heterogeneous. The magnetic field tester is compliant with CE standard IEC/EN 62233 and Generic Standard IEC 62311, and limit value tracing conforms with ICNIRP 1998, 2010 and EMF Directive 2013/35/EU. The magnetic field was measured in and around the cars during the roller-bench test. The locations measured were in front and behind the cars, beside both front and back doors, in the front seat, and along the charging cable during re-charging. Further measurements of magnetic field strength were taken inside the cabins of all four cars whilst driving on public roads. Pretty sweet to completely avoid the rear seats (The HOT spot in Tesla, what I have been asking for since the beginning), and measuring feet away until that sweet drop off hit. That inverse-square law sure does come in handy, just move the probe until you get the number you are looking for. Why did they avoid the rear seats chief? Why only locations feet away from any motor? Not a biased test at all. Let me know when you actually have some data that matters and not some BS testing where the magnetic fields have dropped off and something that is about an actual tissue study. For the eienteenth time: What is the EMF at the rear seats at freeway speeds? What tests have been done at this level & frequency and its effects on Human tissue? All I have been asking. Instead I get some inane link to a pacemaker test on the front seats or behind the rear doors. Conveniently far away from any EMF source. Nice. A standard MRI produces a 1.5T field and can pull office chairs off the ground and into to the tube. If the motor produced even close 1T field in the cabin anyone wearing jewelry would suffer burns from the eddy currents induced in even non-ferrous pieces. Why don’t you go learn something: http://hyperphysics.phy-astr.gsu.edu...ic/magcur.html Not settled science? Of course it is. As if you know anything and are equipped to even read the articles you might stumble across… Last edited by chris719; 01-04-2023 at 02:54 AM.. |

My question still stands and your still dodging it. Fascinating how no measurements off the rear seat on a Tesla except when its parked. Last edited by Sophisticated Redneck; 01-04-2023 at 02:58 AM.. |

What is the measurement coming off the rear seats in a Tesla and what tissues studies have been done at this T level & freq?
Waiting for your next deflection.... |

I apologize for being a jerk and jumping on you so fast, but I was pretty sure you were one of those Wi-Fi makes me sick people from the way it started. Now I realize you just hate Tesla I guess. Last edited by chris719; 01-04-2023 at 03:02 AM.. |

What I am against is the zealotry involved in the rush to mandate everything EV before the tech fully matures. I very much see a future where everyone has electric daily drivers and those who love ICE will have access or even own their own Efuel generators. But again this needs to happen naturally as the market demands not via emotional heavy handed mandates. Battery tech has a long way to go. And I have serious concerns of the EMF in the rear seats where the hot spot is and found a pattern of avoiding testing in this area alarming. Looking up the HV layout, I can see now why this area is conveniently left out. And perhaps this is much ado about nothing and the EMF even under load for long periods of time has zip effect on human tissue in close proximity. Please forgive me however if I want to see actual test data showing this before I go strapping my kids in the back or even myself for long periods of time. I'd choose BMW or Porsche for EVs, not Tesla, ever. Especially seeing the condition of so many "new" Tesla that are delivered, hell no. My cousin had his scratched, dented, seat AND headlights installed badly (this was a week ago fyi). If I want a car that is in used condition when I bought it new, maybe I will consider Tesla. Too bad most traditional car makers, their software and phone compatibility suck aka Porsche and VW group in general.

BREAKING NEWS!
$TSLA dropping prices in China for the Model 3 & Model Y! M3 RWD: -14% M3 Perf: -6% MY RWD & Perf: -10% MY LR: -13% For comparison, Oct 2022 China price cuts: ~5% avg All in, this cuts $TSLA profits by 50%+ assuming flat sales, with 22Q4 Chinese sales flat to 22Q3 despite Oct discounts. This now puts the Model 3 now very close in pricing to the BYD Seal: $31k vs $33.4k ... and $BYDDF has GROWING sales versus $TSLA with declining sales despite the October discounts. $TSLA also cutting prices in South Korea & Australia SIDE NOTE: $TSLA also added the round steering wheel to the Model S and made it the default in the configurator! Sales problems?

I absolutely disagree with you here.
Except for the last point which I find to be such a profound description of lived human experience it's the apotheosis of metaphysical existence. But the first parts were all crap. |

Purely curious & a real question:
How many people here speculate Tesla is a government controlled company? (no, not the US gov't)

Are they sourcing from JC whitney for their performance parts now? That's beyond sad. Is this fake? Hard to comprehend. If true, they deserve whatever bad press they get for such a move. how much $$ does it really save them. and what does it do to their brand when this becomes known? |
