Yeah My Garage just updated to “At The Port.” I can’t even describe what I’m feeling. Is this really happening?

What I find hilarious is looking at all those ordinary cars on your street, and now this beast is sitting in your driveway |

I’m a week 42 build (10/19 prod date). My dealer called today to let me know if the date change (it was 10/20). He expected a month for transport to NY. I admire his optimism and I hope he is right, but I’m thinking it will be closer to mid-December based on everyone’s experiences here.

If the Toronto is the ship we're all waiting on, which seems like the best candidate right now, that loads on Oct 30. Hopefully, there's one sooner, but your guess is as good as anyone elses. |

My production day was 9/21 and hit the port in New Jersey yesterday. My CA guesses 10 day from hitting port until pick up. I am guessing more like the 28th.

This seems like anomaly. I’m not seeing many people getting on ships within a month of production

I feel that those with Week 38 builds really were fortunate to get on a ship so quickly. Seems like they (BMW) may have known that it would be a while til another ship would come through and they slid those cars on the last ship going out for the month of September. Looking at the spreadsheet its been a mixed bag for many people. Some get on a ship pretty quickly while others have a month or more wait. If it is the case that the next ship Week 39 & 40 builds get a chance to be on is the Toronto, then we may not know til almost mid November if they made it or not. Quite frustrating I must say and what a difference one or two weeks make especially since it was 38 days from allocation to Scheduled for Production for me. But at the end of the day those are the cards I was dealt and I have to live with it. Our cars will come eventually it just stinks not getting up to date information and just left wondering what's going on with logistics at this point.

https://g20.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh...22341&page=266 This does seems to be similar pattern to our situation between the Toronto and the Glovis Sunrise, except there's no indication that the Sunrise is headed to Veracruz prior to the the 15 day outlook at Brunswick. What I'm guessing is that the Glovis Sunrise will go to Brunswick, then down to Altamira and Veracruz to load cars, and then back up to Brunswick to begin the East coast run, and we'll see it show up on the 15 day outlook again after passing through it. Timing would be late Oct if true. On vesselfinder, I only see out to Oct 24th for expected ships, and I'd expect if Sunrise were to make this trip, it would be around Oct 28 or so. Next week we'd find out. https://www.vesselfinder.com/ports/MXVER001 |

I know this may not mean anything but this morning I'm seeing that Glovis Cardinal is now heading to Altamira and due to arrive on 10/19 and then arrive in Brunswick on 10/26. From Brunswick I'm not sure of where it is going. No indication of it going to Veracruz though.

Well that is at least some glimmer of hope. I have not been given an answer as to which port my car is currently at. But most cars typically ship out from Veracruz. It's rare to hear that BMW's were loaded in Altamira. If my car is actually in Altamira and does somehow make this ship I may not know then its unloaded in Brunswick on the 10/26. I'm not hearing on here or other forums of any Week 39+ builds that have shipped yet so its been difficult to track the frequency of shipments.

I was up near Newark yesterday for the eagles jets game (ughh hahaha) and I tried to convince my sister and mom to raid the port with me in search of any m2s that may be waiting around for you guys but they wouldn’t assist…I’m sorry.
As for loading in altimira I’m ok with having another option and will likely spend half my day digging into ships that are making those crossings |
