It just pops in over the current cupholder and uses power from the 12v socket. There is a small add-on connector you connect to the passenger side footwell light to wirelessly control the color change.

Yes, it’s connect to the driver side foot well and changes color with the rest of the lights. I got them on Ali my only recommendation is to get legit 3m clear tape. The stuff it comes with is not great at all.

I just found this on AliExpress: | Suitable for BMW New 23457 Series M2M3M4X5X6X7 Integrated Screen Under Atmosphere Light Automotive Interior Lighting

You have patience. When bmwusa.com status said my car arrived at the dealer i was there within 24 hours. I initially called and my sales guy was like “lets plan for delivery in 3-4 days”, I was like no Ill be there in 2 hours. Took the car home that day.

So, I got to about 1,100 miles total the other day. Finally at a break-in-complete mileage. I will let my local dealer do the first oil change which is scheduled for this Friday.

Looking forward to being to fully rip her around. No more 4500 rpm max, worrying about speed changes, etc.

A quick 170 mile round trip to see Paul at PCW Exhaust Mods. So much better than what I expected! The exhaust now sounds like it should, not overbearing but much more bass under load but still soft enough with the valves closed to not be intrusive on a run.

With the valves open it sounds great in all modes and obviously still looks stock!

Spent the weekend over at Ultimate BMW show here in the UK. Amazing meet with over 1000 BMWs on display.

Including myself only saw 3 G42’s though.
Over here it seems the G87 is the poplar car, see more of them on the roads and there was far more at this show..

Does the door covering the cupholders still close?

Took the daily M240i B58 out to Lime Rock. 4 seconds slower than my Supra but to be expected. Honestly, it was much more capable than I anticipated it would be. Needs some more front negative camber. Mods in the youtube description. MPH overlay is slower than actual as it is OBD2.

Short answer is “not really”
Longer answer is, it will. I have to remove some tabs inside the lid if I would like it to close. Not sure I wanna hack those off.

Got my dme unlocked and decided to go with the carbahn stage one tune. I know this tune is more on the conservative side but so far I am loving it! Car was already too fast for me and now it feels even crazier.

Waste of money. Could have just gotten a real tune and stage 1. That way when you want more you can vs being stuck on a one trick platform

Definitely do not buy another one from them lol. Put MHD or BM3.
That way you can have a solid tune with revisions and more features. It’s not just about more power

Are your air temps in the video accurate? Although I assume Fahrenheit, over 200 pre-IC is crazy considering it should be pulling in the air at pretty high velocity at that speed. I have noticed with both intakes I have run that pipe with the intake sensor does get quite hot, but that's usually when sitting in drag strip staging lanes with the hood down.

Yes, and normal for the stock turbo. Pre-IC is measured at the charge pipe, so the temps coming out of the turbo before the intercooler.

Even bone stock, no tune, in 38F ambient temps, Charge temps go over 200F. When tuned, at boost over 20psi out the top, stock turbo can easily create 300F+ charge temps
