I'm pretty sure I always watched it On Demand and not AMC. Maybe it's one of those things where there is a day or so delay after it initially airs until it is available On Demand? Will try again tonight.

I have HBO Max so i can watch it all but i definitely feel like i should have watched the previous season before starting the current. Same thing happened to me with Umbrella Academy. This past Sunday's episode was a bit better though

yeah this is what's becoming a huge P.I.T.A. in regards to all of these emerging streaming services. basically we're going to end up with a 1-for-1 situation where we're swapping a current cable channel to a new streaming service...and these cable channels are quickly pulling their content from OnDemand and moving it onto their streaming service to increase subscriptions. i've been DVR'ing a lot of first run cable content so i can watch at my convenience, and i dont miss it before it moves to XYZ+ streaming service.

Yeah but the problems they will have is people will pick and choose and some will be left out and subscribers will watch what they want and then cancel. It’s already happening to Netflix.

Just finished the BBCs Chernobyl mini-series. I’d highly recommend it, just an excellent series from start to finish.

It’s also supposed to be pretty accurate to real events which is great!

Ya, I never got the hatred Jimmy and Kim have for Howard, esp the latter, very out-of-character even though they wanna portray her as some rebel badX even when she was young...I don't buy it. That scene where she does the double gun-BANG thing to Jimmy was cringy as hell. Anyway, all their stupid and elaborate pranks on Howard indirectly led to his death. They will have to live w that for the rest of their lives.

The new "Resident Evil" on Netflix has gotten off to a pretty good start, but annoying by episode two there's already the obligatory gay female couple. It never fails. I'm just waiting for the trans character, BLM undertones and a Trump lookalike evil final boss.

I have nothing against the LGBT2Q community, mixed race couples etc but the political messaging is making a lot of TV unwatchable.

My darling Son brought me a lovely Covid present back from a concert he went to in Sydney a week or so ago so I’ve been isolating all week and have had the opportunity to catch up on a bit of viewing.

I really enjoyed The Terminal List, thought it was a bit moist here and there and I couldn’t imagine the US letting an internal terrorist run around like he was. Other than that, pretty good.

Unfortunately I started to watch Apex, a very bad movie starring Bruce Willis. Just don’t!

….within minutes of the gay couple introduction (…and after a character is bitten by a zombie dog), the bitten character asks if she'll have to quarantine. The father replies, "No! It's not like COVID!"………uhhhhh riiiiiight!!!! So, in a world where mass infection and zombies exist, Umbrella's zombie hound can bite you (…likely beginning the transformation), but only COVID requires a quarantine!?!? This propaganda is mind blowing.

I likely sit two steps left of the guns and god crowd here but the mixed race thing is completely and utterly out of control. I literally cannot remember the last white couple I have seen on tv show the past two years.

I grew up, lived and worked in Toronto for most of my life. Toronto is arguably one of the most divers and progressive cities in the world. I knew a few gay couples and can only think of a couple of mixed race couples I came across or knew. I worked in government buildings and spent 20 years in the downtown core including the gay village. The disproportionate number of gay, trans and mixed race couples on TV now would make you think that a straight white couples are the anomaly on the planet now.

As I have said, I have absolutely nothing against the LGBT2Q community or mixed race couples but I am losing patients and interest in TV and movies that flog this message constantly.
