Seriously! At first I was like “what went airborne?” Then I realized he meant the car went airborne and I thought “man, I haven’t heard anyone say that since high school!”

Wow. Did you hit a ramp to do this? Bump? Bad aero?

Wanna make sure I never do what you did.

Generally prefer to keep all 4 on the ground at high speed.

I chose the Turner Motorsports skid plate. Unlike Mishimoto and MAD, it protects the entire engine bay.

YMMV

Curious? Why do the corners of the bumper needed to be protected. Protecting the oil cooler is the main objective with this mod.

What else are you protecting? I also see big open areas of the oil cooler that are unprotected and still wide open to damage...kind of defeats the purpose.

I keep a small percentage of my krugerrands there.

The safe deposit box is full.

Additionally, there is a layer of upsidasium between the cooler and openings to protect any damage.

I use the Mish on my G87 but since my daughter's G42 with the cooler is even more naked than the G87, I fitted the Turner's plate on hers (it was the only option at the time). Except I tried to minimize the openings further.

Any more front end pics of your car? I’m debating zunsport across the entire front or just the center.
