Lots of MSRP allocations right now. It seems BMW released more than dealers were expecting. I know 2 dealers that have them ready to order. Plus the dealer I’m using. So that’s 3 I know of.

Looking for a California dealer willing to sell an M2 at MSRP. Let me know if you know of any. I have tried BMW of Mountain View, they wanted a 10K market adjustment. I am reaching out the San Rafael BMW, waiting on a quote. Let me know if you know of one out there and I will reach out to them.
Thanks |

Anyone else looking for an M2 in the Bay Area at MSRP shoot me a PM. I got no meat on this but wouldn’t mind helping folks out and setting up with my CA. Lmk.

I just placed order through MTV BMW. They asked for 10K ADM and I walked away in August. I got an email on Sept. 30th for one opening allocation at MSRP. Placed an order with 5K non-refundable deposit. It's already scheduled for production with 150 code. Maybe it was just an one-off case with the end-of-the quarter thing. I think BMW Redwood city mentioned they can get me an allocation soon at MSRP. Stevens creek said something 6-9 months before but maybe better by now with production ramp-up. Just call all of them and tell them you are buying one at MSRP now. Some of them will call you back sonner or later.

If you want a sure thing go to Peter Pan, which is where I took delivery. It's an ok experience, very transactional and I needed to follow up a lot.. but! I got an MSRP allocation in August and took delivery by the end of September. I had a $1k refundable deposit down since March though. I asked when I picked up how their waitlist was going and my CA said they had enough to get through the rest of their waitlist, and since they were selling so many M cars they were getting a lot more allocations in. |

There's plenty of M2's sitting at Bay Area dealers. I got mine 4 weeks ago at MSRP after I flat-out told Mountain View I wouldn't even consider a mark-up. Justin/Jason over there will sort you out - good dudes to work with.

I always thought this California ADM would end once you could purchase cars over the internet out of state. Can’t believe dealerships in Cali are still getting away with it. The M2 sold before mine was an MSRP purchase from California. Still had to be shipped from VA but was still less expensive than dealer markup.

Stevens Creek BMW will sell under MSRP. I was originally looking at the M4 which they offered 10,000$ under MSRP but when I told them I wanted the M2 instead they offered the M2 for 500$ under MSRP. I ended up ordering from Fremont BMW and they were willing to match. However I did buy a 2020 M2 Competition from them so I think they were willing to be more flexible.

He said 12% off MSRP for any M4 on the lot. They seem really desperate to get rid of their inventory.

M2 Manual, Carbon 76995 including destination. 2550 off that but they got me on Permaplate and etching for 1328. They had 4 M2s during my buy, probably why the discount. If you look at inventory plenty are coming in so hopefully prices will get better.

I ended up finding a 24 M2 @at Irvine BMW with everything including Carbon Package and paid a small ADM given how few carbon package automatic cars are available. They are definitely starting to sit on lots and MSRP is easy.
