Ok, so a pretty wide range. Kinda surprising, I can't imagine they are actually still actually building the car for 6, 8, or 19 days. Sounds like it doubles as an in-between stage where it's done building but not assigned to a carrier to the port of exit maybe?

That could very well be it! My CA actually texted me the day after it entered Final Assembly and advised it was done being built just awaiting transport but it stayed in Final Assembly for another week after.

I think it's what you said possibly combined with a difference between the times it takes to get a shipper to carry west coast bound vehicles and east coast bound vehicles to the two respective ports in Mexico. That might help explain the variance.

I'm wondering how late in the '24 builds I'm going to be?? Just placed my deposit yesterday and the dealer said I will still be able to get the '24 (and avoid the price increase for the '25 models). What are the chances of this being the final '24 they produce??

M2 ordered in frozen portimao blue, jet black wheels, carbon roof, automatic (part of the compromise to all me to make such a luxury purchase).

This will be my first ever brand new car ordered for myself; I've previously owned a 330i (2002 year) and a 318i (1996 year).

Congrats! Frozen PB is going to be amazing. I’m not sure but believe they will phase in production of the 2025s in August.

HEY! That's MY color!

I see you went for the BLUE calipers. I did the Red for some contrast.

Yeah, I'm pretty excited to see this color in person. Yeah, I considered the red as well BroDoze but decided to stick with the "stealth" theme since I did the all black wheels and carbon fiber trim interior.

Always a bit nervous to place an order like this without ever actually seeing this color in person (frozen PB). Some of the pictures online are amazing though, so I'm excited.

Congrats on the order! It already shows you are scheduled for production, so you are good to go and will definitely get a 2024. If you download the install the 'BMW MyGarage Chrome Trick' Google Chrome extension, if you load that page and activate the extension, it should tell you your production date, which should be the day your build actually starts if you are curious.

I hear ya - luckily I've seen enough of the glossy Portimao blue in all kinds of lighting that I'm definitely excited about the color itself. Just trying to imagine the frozen part is a bit fdifficult. So many frozen cars around me are vinyl and it's just not the same. There's next to no depth on the vinyl.

Did the same and felt the same with frozen grey. No regrets at all and so happy with decision.
