Alcantara sucks. That goes for steering wheels too. The standard dash is so much more durable and easier to clean.

I love alcantara interiors, it really elevates the luxury feel IMO. I had it in my Lexus LC500 it was a light tan color they called “toasted caramel” lol absolutely gorgeous.
It held up really well tbh, but I am very clean though and keep my cars clean and no kids so that might have something to do with it. I will def be seeing about getting this mod done, although might not be as easy on my F95 as it will be for you guys…..

So when you peel it off how much adhesive residue remains especially when this bakes during the summer

I love it, I want it, it's everything. I love Alcantara. I want the dash and headliner in it on my i4 just like my 992.1

I love it. I was considering the same for my F82

I’ve already done the visors, a, b , c pillars and rear shelf in 9002 dark grey Alcantara.

The company that supply the pre cut dash cover in the Uk use 9002 also

You can choose the striching. So I’m going for silver as M Stich might just be too loud.

Hud trim and centre speaker trim and small air vents pop out to allow flush install.

My only concern is how will expand and shrink in the heat from the sun.

It won’t, only real leather shrinks (doesn’t expand).

I’m curious about the adhesive…

Ditch the cheese M2 logo and it really looks nice.

You get hit with soft alcantara to help soften the blow of the airbag.

Alcantara is very easy to maintain & clean. Almost the entire interior in my Z06 is Alcantara (I have a couple more trim pieces to cover). For any piece you're not touching regularly, there's virtually zero maintenance. For parts like steering wheels, shift knobs, etc., some Sonax and microfiber cloth or fabric brush.
