I hate being a Lions fan.

Tom didn't look great either. Bad day of football for me.

So, is it possible that a certain Coach Bellichick had SOMETHING to do with the success that the New England Patriots have had?

I’ve argued this for years, both Bill and Tom were in the right place at the right time.

No way TB would have had the same career if he was on say the Cowboys, Bills, Jets - I could go on and on. He’s definitely the most decorated QB of all time, but definitely not the most talented.

Bellichick has a unique ability to understand the strengths of players and put them in a position to excel. Just look at players he signs for a game, they go off for 150 yards and a couple TDs only to be released the following week. He identified something he saw in tape that would work against a particular team and exploits it. As well, look at the success of other QBs when TB goes down with an injury....they don’t miss a beat.

We’ll see how the year plays out, but Brady looked average and the Pats got the job done.

Well said....as a Lombardi fan its difficult to say it, but Bellichick is the greatest coach of all time.
And as you said, only 1 game, but SO refreshing to see the GB offense keep the pedal down instead of the usual MacCarthy "going into a shell to protect the lead" nonsense. Packers may actually have something here.

Cautiously optimistic that GB offence is finally coming together. Saw flashes of it last year, but they looked good against a decent defence.

Must say, I enjoyed watching Dallas lose...

This whole Belichek vs Brady is a media-driven narrative. In life the answer is usually in the middle. Both guys created a system that worked. The media will forever debate who's the Batman and who's the Robin, in reality even God doesn't know or care.

I literally left to run errands at half time. My son called and told me that Dallas won.
I thought he was punking me.

Watched the highlights. Atlanta should fire either Special Teams coach or head coach.

DALLAS has a shit ton of things to fix.

Who's leading the AFC east after two weeks? It looks like Beane/McDermott have the wagons circled in Buffalo this year! I was actually happy to see Ryan Fitzpatrick have a decent game, as long as the Bills ultimately got the win.

Speaking of stadiums, what's the deal with Hard Rock Stadium in Miami? They had a power failure in half the stadium that knocked out the broadcast for a significant chunk of the second quarter (missed two touchdowns). Did they hire electricians from the New Orleans dome to wire the place? To add to the 2020 weirdness, they also had to clear the field right after the third quarter started for a ~half hour lightning delay.

Although I am not a fan of Dallas (XXVII and XXVIII), I have to give their special teams coach credit for that onside kick play design. Atlanta was the first victim, but Dallas will ultimately be the loser because every other team in the league will be practicing it on Tuesday to copy it from both sides of the ball.....

The misery level for Falcons fans is pretty high and I'm starting to think that DQ's time is about up. There are too many talented players to be 0-2 plus there's the record since the Super Bowl collapse.

We (Dallas) didn't win that game, Atlanta lost it....

What a day yesterday for the NFL... Some great games, some not so great games and a lot of injuries.
