Strangely, it was always called 2-zone, so I don’t think it’s losing the rear.

I was hoping they'd add the 360 Parking Cameras as an option. Not sure why the M240 gets it and not the M2.

You read my mind. I am considering this as well. I will keep my name on the list, but will keep just passing along to the next guy until LCI. $1K is not a deal breaker but I was hoping they would split the carbon pack. |

When do you guys anticipate that will be? I am joining the wait list soon and there are 30 people in front of me. Dealer is saying it will be ~2 year wait, perhaps an LCI will be close by the time I get an allocation?

Completely with you on that. I'd take every LCI model over the original over the last 10 years. With each passing day, I'm starting to lose hope that we will see individual paint. Although the frozen finishes now being offered are a good sign

Guess we will see what happens. If they do get hybrid I'd probably prefer pre LCI to not have the extra weight and complexity for a hybrid system that won't really let me drive without using gas even if I wanted to. |

I was sooooo hoping the delay in my allocation would net 1 or 2 new paint options in '24
And the frozen crap doesn't count Dare I wait till '25?

I feel the odds are low that BMW will unlock a huge array of colors in 2025.
My logic is that the M2 is now so mechanically similar to the M3/M4 that they are going to differentiate these cars on options. That means the M2 will not get a lot of options (paints, 360 cameras, vented seats, forged wheels, carbon brakes, etc.). Maybe one new option or a couple paints a year, that's about it. |

A change in rear springs and body rigidity is probably not enough of a differentiator for BMW's marketing teams. Hence why we got scaled back options on the G87, and I figure that will continue.
I'd love to be wrong about this, of course! |

Its not the marketing I am concerned with, its the companies making parts who are staying silent and have not confirmed nor released any G87 specific parts (and if its anything like what H&R and KW motorsport division have said, who knows qhen we will see anything). For me, one good thing is Vossen has the specs for the car and with the M Performance HAS. |

Cf items, engine accessories, yes. I think it may be a while till we see any specific G87 designated suspension items (and I dobt mean ones that share a same part number with G80/82). |
