Looking great! Basically my spec. Only thing I added was the carbon bucket seats and CF trim.

The MPHAS in the front, do you think they made some mistake there in terms of ride-height or is that the standard 10mm drop they are supposedly doing. Also, did you get any papers indicating that they did an alignment after installing the HAS?

This is what I got. I’m pretty sure it’s correct. 10mm drop isn’t much. Rear is perfect but front always sits higher on these cars. If I drop front another 10mm it will be perfect. I did not see an alignment sheet though.

I wanted to get into something smaller / more nimble. I was originally wanting to go from my 718 Cayman to an M2 but couldn’t get an allocation initially. I did get an allocation for an M3 and they threw in a $2K discount at the time so I jumped on it.
The M3 always felt a little too big for me vs what I wanted out of a fun weekend only car hence the trade in. They gave me $6K less than I paid for the M3 18months later so depreciation wasn’t too bad and the taxes were pretty much a wash because the M2 was only slightly more than the trade value. So only a few grand total out of pocket to get into a new car that’s more what I was desiring in the first place.

I’m trying to decide whether I want to order a m3 comp x drive or just go M2. It’s about a $12k difference between the two with how I’d spec them. Tough decision.

I’m dd an old Infiniti m35x, it’s about 2.5 inches longer than a M3. It’s freaking enormous

Yes I traded in my 22 M4 Comp AWD in for a Cayenne Coupe and missed my BMW so much that I grabbed a good deal on a 23 M2 Coupe in late July and feel its a much better fun/sports drive car than the M4. Same engine and torque and suspension too for the most part. Much better car for what I was looking for also esp as an extra car given price points also between the two! Enjoy and let us know what you think.
