Do you roughly know of the cutoff timeframe for adding Port options (for example, does it have to be ordered before it leaves the boat at the VPC)?

My understanding is you have to make any changes before status 150, and the price is all inclusive. I know it was a lil pricier than just lowering springs, or even other HAS systems, but the roads where I live have are rough in the winters so there is a chance I might adjust for the seasons, and I was willing to pay a little bit more for convenience. I don't want to take the car down to the valley for mods more than I have to.

That is awesome, I’m glad you can indeed get the HAS port installed. I guess those M guys didn’t get the memo.

Thanks. I thought it was possible to add Port options after 150 (but not Factory options). Apparently not.

Think you’ll find it’s just a basic c/f antenna cover with double sided tape, not a replacement antenna. They’ve been available for the F87 for years.
You’d have to be very lazy or completely useless to pay someone to fit that.

I cant stop watching this video.
It really is amazing what a proper video/ photo (in this case a screen grab) can do.
Here are the best ones. Euro spec with no front wheel wheel arch reflector and black wheels looks super clean.

Antenna is absolutely fine for me but I still think classic BMW badges would look better, particularly on the rear.
Everything else is perfect.

It’s not double sided tape. It’s bonded with a thick bead of adhesive that’s extremely difficult to get off. You have to not only heat it but also cut all around the base to remove. Like I said, it’s a PIA.

This is exactly why I am going to leave the factory black antenna cover in place. I foresee all sorts of potential issues that could arise from swapping to the M Performance carbon fiber antenna cover. The main one being water ingress.

Edit, A vehicle full of the latest tech/electronics and water ingress is a recipe for a nightmare.

Spoke to my CA, can still add Port options after status 150.

Z58 is definitely available as well.

That's cool, so when is the cutoff for port installed parts?

Didn’t get a definitive answer on that from my SM.

Agreed, the black won't bother me.

From doing a bunch of research of other threads and forums, it appears you can add Port options up until the day before it reaches the port. Again, my SM didn’t even know the answer to that, so take it for what is worth.

My opinion, the M guys from AG haven’t a clue as to what is going on in the NA market. Why would they nor why should they?

Edit, I am confident that they knew the questions that were going to be asked in advance too.

I think your missing the point.
The c/f antenna cover I have on my F87 is simply a stick-on cover. I’m guessing the G87 version will be exactly the same thus you don’t remove the oem antenna but simply stick the cover over top.
If your saying the BMW c/f antenna is an actual replacement rather than a simple cover (which I seriously doubt), then just wait a month or so & get an aftermarket c/f cover that will no doubt be readily available…SIMPLE.

The c/f version will be a cover that simply goes over the existing antenna with double sided tape or silicone or whatever means you choose to attach it with.
It's fully understood that it's just a cover that gets replaced. I think you're missing the point that it's more difficult to remove the cover than you think. I don't know how to be any clearer that it's a pain in the ass to do and also risky, especially on a CF roof.

The same antenna cover is used for the G87 as the G80, it is a replacement for the original factory cover that has to be removed by cutting away first. Here is the CF cover:

Here are the fitting instructions: https://rparts-sites.s3.amazonaws.co...ENNA_COVER.pdf
