I think the darkened tails look great as well. I have Schmiedmann black taillight lenses on my 1 M and vastly prefer the look to the stock lenses.

I even know of a brand new G42 you can practice on with the owners permission for the next few days.

Haha! If I had some stencil paper I'd go try it right now.

I wish I could be excited for it but ID8 is so disappointing to me, and I'm not too much a fan of the styling either.

They need to show it already before they over hype and under deliver like the Supra

Looks like it will really get the normal 340i/440i Sport seats standart. Its just a blury filter outer egdes are sharp. Wondering if u can spec the normal M3/M4 comfort seats.

This seems to be accurate and tracks with some information I received for an upcoming event to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of the M Brand. I will get some more details this week but I am eager to see this car in person.

Good call. My last 3 bmws have been pre-lci but not doing that anymore. Getting tired of retrofitting lots of expensive items and having a never ending list of coding projects. LCI from here on out.

I think ideally if they do force the base seats on us, they give us an option for the G8x seats at a cost (say $600 or so) and the carbon buckets.

You'll only need to wait 2yrs for the LCI to arrive, April 2025.

This event the South Carolina performance Center?
Correct, I will be there with the BMW CCA M Chapter and working with them to make it a weekend event.

Forum member Tag has almost certainly a full VIN of one or more G87 M2 test mule(s).

If you run a valid VIN of a G87 M2 through a non-defunct VIN Decoder, blurred configuration renders of the exterior and interior of the car pop up + specs of that particular car. Once the model got official, the configuration renders are no longer blurred.

In the past, VIN specs of dozens of pre-production F87 M2 and F87 M2 Competition cars were already leaked over here at Bimmerpost.
