That being said, the comp spec wheels are not meant for lightness, you're compromising weight in lieu of strength with the comp spec wheels. If you want ultimate "lightweight", I'd recommend the SL-A.3 SuperLite or the RS3. Any of the comp spec will be heavier off the bat just from all the extra material around the perimeter. If easier, we can discuss your build through email - vtforged@gmail.com Thanks! |

I think I’m going to be a good sheep and buy some gloss black SLA 3s. Function over form. I’m having a stupid argument in my own head that EVERYBODY is running them. In reality EVERYBODY is running 930m s😀
I should also say they really are nice looking wheels, show off the brakes and are easy to clean. I just dig the fat boy comps better. Cheers Andy, make them cheap Black Friday.

I went with the RS-S in Gloss Bronze. I went with a similar to OEM staggered set up but with a slightly larger wheel in the back to accommodate a larger tire in the future.

Beautiful 10 spokes, I was just looking at those last night.
Thankful to have found this thread to knwo about the clicking. Was considering apex wheels but that clicking would drive me literally insane. I had slotted brakes once that did something similar and you could only hear it at low speeds or next to a jersey barrier with the window down but NOPE took that crap off ASAP.
