Well you have a point but keep in mind there are people in the world are willing to pay more to be the first one having something others may or may not have later
It's like 50k markup by dealers when M4 CSL came to the party.

Back in the day, no doubt. No one really makes them now. Especially with the higher power these days. That ship has sailed. You will never see a high powered sports car with a manual and AWD again. If that’s the case, Lambo/Ferrarri/Mac/ Corvette and so on would offer them. R8 was probably the last to offer it. 2014-15 ish I believe??

Not really, wheelspin is always an issue on high powered 2WD platforms.

Virtually every hot hatch was manual a few years ago (not that those in the USA got many of them anyway). Nowadays the few that are left are virtually all DCT (which isnt a bad thing).

Outstanding work R44 Performance . I like the performance numbers and feedback from a professional driver.

It's pretty funny to see a complete newbie (with his rookie training wheels still on) try to come in here & fresh off the block try to rip this thread apart from the start. Better try a lot harder next time to ignite a pissing match here & because all you successfully did was make a complete joke out of yourself.

Back on topic ladies & gents. Nice build here & it's great to see what the G87 M2 is capable of in the AWD version. Despite what the some of the RWD purists may say, I sure as hell would enjoy an AWD G87 M2. On the street & track I can achieve better acceleration on all roads & improve my lap times with less oversteer. What's not to love about that. Job well done guys.

Lol what? When a world renowned company tries to claim a great achievement within the community as the first ever done, its completly diminishes the smaller shops work, not hard to say the first in Europe, or one of the first in the world, but when you’ve been told your not first by multiple people, and still claim it as is afterwards, it diminishes the hard work and achievements by the much smaller, lesser known company, but your right i’m a newbie (whatever that meand) and i’m trying to rip a thread apart lol(ok). Not hard to not discredit smaller shops just because you have a bigger name.

Again, I think everything is pointing to X-Drive late 2026 as a model year 2027 car. Read the big X-Drive thread. This IS per the OP and others.

325, 328,335,340,435, 528, 535 all had XDrive Manual option. Has been done. Can be done but agreed that there just aren’t enough takers even for manuals these days. It’s sad really. Another reason why I haven’t sold my STi yet and probably won’t.

To be fair don’t title the post WORLDS First … I get why someone would comment about GTP bc they did truly do it first… people are usually not there true self on the the net so I normally don’t even waste time in writing….but

Now what I’m Really sick of the world record this and worlds first that bro cmon… enough is enough…

Just build love and enjoy to drive. And Like in most cases R44 does a sick build out just…. why the need for the title when it’s clearly not. 🤷‍♂️
