I thought mine was toast today when it got hit by a discarded chunk of tire tread that got kicked up on the interstate. Checked it when I got to my destination and just a scuff on the ppf.

I got good news from Aeroflow regarding additional products and they are indeed working on new stuff, for now, side skirts and rear spats. The design obviously will be match with the front lip. So this is good news for us.

That is good news. If they're the same quality & price point, I'll be all over them.

Why did you install the sides first? Is it because connecting all the pieces first would have made it harder to install with only one person? I plan on installing mine by myself tomorrow.

Not too bad. I followed JABCAT’s tips and process. I pretty much did it myself (though my daughter helped by handing me the screws).
The only thing that made it difficult was the short ramps I used to lift the front of the car. I barely fit the drill underneath, but managed. |

Installed mine yesterday.
Quality and fit is okay, I have no doubt that the quality CF pieces fit better. Quality and fit for $200 shipped on a disposable piece is more then acceptable for me. Really completes the front end in my eyes. |

Just ordered one myself. I'm lowered on MPHAS and can't bring myself to spend $ on a CF lip I will probably scrape. Picked up my ZB on 7/30 but have yet to post pics. Will do so after I install this.

Just ordered after destroying my Maxton front lip on the interstate tonight….
Why do people think it’s ok to have fucking shit just in the bed if their truck, without securing it down…!!! Anyways, this look like it might pair better with my car now it’s in AST HAS kit… Wooossaaaaa……. |

mind elaborating what you mean about the quality? I was considering this as the fav gloss black option. it may not be an expensive part , but I hope to get a front lip i'd want to keep on the car for a long time.

I think the quality is fine. I think it’s made very well. The mold perfectly fits on the car and being three pieces, making the adjustment to fit perfect even makes it easier to handle for a one person install. The quality of material considering it’s abs plastic, in my opinion is also very good. It’s not 100% perfect as you can see a couple of dimples or indentions that you can see at an angle from the top due to the screw mold at the bottom. Also maybe the paint quality can be better but apply ceramic coat after a light buff and it will look even better. I think people will always try to compare it to higher quality - higher end lips. But when you add the price in the equation and what you are getting it’s hands down unbeatable. Lastly the design is really good comparing to other ones in the market like the eBay one that sits even lower to the ground, this one is higher off the ground. Which is less likely to hit road debris, parking blocks and curbs. Also consider why we are going with this is because this area is very susceptible to damage so replacing a $200 piece versus the expensive alternative just makes more sense.

The paint in one area looks like it ran off a bit and the dimples that show in the two side pieces where they attached to the center piece, that’s what I mean by quality. Other than that is really no big deal

I'd say the quality is on-par with BMW performance parts. I had the $700 M Performance gloss black abs front splitter on my 3-series, and that was no better quality than this one.
