Yeah but maybe carbon fiber mirror caps will look better to match the carbon roof

That's true, but the roof is quite a bit far away from the side view mirror (relatively speaking). The side view mirror is connected to all of the window trim & therefore, it completes the look. That's why the competition trim of many BMW M models are featured & optioned this way. Just my .02 cents.

You are right, and price must be lower too, does BMW sell those black mirror caps? I thought they had the CF ones only

Yeah, a little lower, with spacers and some aero transforms these cars from being a little strange to looking really nice and aggressive. I think BG looks good because of the black accents on the car.

Wish they’d make something like this in ABS plastic. Looks good but I hate how easy piano black scratches/swirls. I have carbon now but I know I’ll destroy my lip eventually 🥲
