Nice I have this exhaust but paired with a AA equal length midpipe.

Shots of the tips. Installer (Beef - awesome dude!) even asked how/where I wanted the tips mounted before finalizing. I liked exactly where he laid his pipe ( ) so I left 'em as is. Slightly forward of the diffuser and slight stagger. I think it looks pretty sharp!

The clamps holding the tips on are positioned above your tips correct?

I was shocked at how deep the sound is. It is guttural/snarly for sure. Dude at the shop started the car and it caught me off guard! LOL

And that's the Eco setting. I get more burbles with M2 active.

Play that video through your car - you'll really hear how deep the tone of the exhaust is!

I'll have to check when I go back out to my car, but I want to say the clamp bolts/nuts sit off the sides more than on top or under the tip. I think you can turn the clamp so you can position the bolt where you can get easy access to them. I just didn't see where he placed the bolts. I was too in awe of how killer it all looked to notice. LOL

Keep in mind for me, the installer did a tiny tack weld to hold them in place. He told me they could pull them out farther & stagger them more if I wanted, so plenty of space to place how you want!! I left it the way he did it - I can see the logos but they're not sticking far out at all. Very nice placement.

Mike, it is AWESOME! I like a deep exhaust more than I like loud for loudness sake. Can't stand that "BRAAAAAAP!" cow fart in a field sound.

This is a nice combo of a decent but not offensive increase in volume (it's still gonna tick off the neighbors too early in the AM) BUT - the TONE! Snarly growl this set up has!! Just nasty!

It is noticeably deeper than stock and it is also noticeably louder. AND NO DRONE!! What a relief over my F87 M performance exhaust w/sport cat DP. I was worried deleting the resonators but nope - it is perfection.

I am glad I have the SST controller so I can tone this down when leaving for work in the AM.

I see posts where a guy was asking where can he get a deep tone - this set up does it for me! I can't see anyone being disappointed.

And even though I ordered direct from MAD, I think you shipped it to me (?)

I actually just noticed in the videos - installed the tips with the bolts on the clamps mounted at the top. The midpipe connections, he mounted with the bolts to the sides.

These videos do not do it justice. You FEEL the exhaust. Just keep in mind except for the comparison video - the other vids have the SST controller at 100% open.

Nah, she actually buys me car parts all the time (I got a good one) . She wants a custom carbon fiber steering wheel for her X3MC like I have in the M2, so we're negotiating.

I am not a fan at all with the M Performance suspension aka HAS. I have already purchased Ohlins Road & Track to replace it. The HAS is junk at higher speeds (yes, I am running a stage 2 tune on e40, and no, I am not and have no plans to track the car). Its a stability issue, especially if using a drag radial or track/race tire (Nittos, Toyos, Cup RS, etc). If I could do over, would definitely be a hard pass on the HAS
