Sorry to hear/read, hopefully they can reflash your ECU to resolve this. I can imagine your frustration though. It's an awesome car, good luck on with getting your issues sorted out.

Thank you, sir. I'm just bummed about it all. My E36 had a DME issue, and this is bringing back those memories. Hopefully I get it back by Monday. They had to reach out to HQ in Deutschland to sort out the issue. At least they gave me a brand new 330i LCI as a loaner.

Vudumonkey25 You ever put the side winglets on? Assuming you got them from autotecknic as well I'm curious of the fit.

Day late, but the roads finally dried up enough to run the car through a touchless wash.

Only flaw with gloss black trim is it takes .000008192712051 seconds to look dirty.

Installed a sub. Building an amp rack and getting a new black carpeted ported enclosure within the next week.

Saturday I washed the G42, ceramic-sprayed it, then drove it like I stole it, on the dirty-but-dry, snowless roads. Noticed afterward it had not picked up much dust or dirt. Loving these ceramic products more and more!

It's not an insane level of bass, but it fills in what is missing with the OEM HK subs perfectly, which is all I wanted. With further crossover tuning and a ported enclosure, I'm hoping to get just a little more out of it. I'll likely post a thread with more pics and pointers for those considering an install.

Yes, some extra low end is needed. I like the HK mostly, but it seems the music played makes a vast difference. Just when I think the system isn't so great, I'll play something else that sounds spectacular. Of course, the source file is a factor, ie, a quality hi-def file vs a crap .mp3 But overall, that sub should help a lot.

It does help, I have a bass knob up front so I can completely turn off the new sub. Going from having the new sub on then turning it off, the stock HK subs are missing the lows, and overall bass 'force'? due to lacking power+enclosures. They sound acceptable for a factory system, though - like you said, depends on the song and quality of the source.

Installed an M performance rear spoiler. Huge run around from the dealer that told me it had a defect when in fact it looked like when I left it for install someone bumped it into something, good thing I'm handy with epoxy and fixed it right up decided to never let that dealer touch the car again went ahead and installed myself.

Very nice! Was double sided tape used or betalink adhesive?

The dealer didnt do it, I just used 3m tape it feels like its plenty. The beta link seems a lot more perm and imo a tad overkill anyway. If you use 3m tape just make sure to prep the surface and you won't have any issues.

Nice, any tips on removing the stop spoiler and removing the residue? Did you have to polish the paint after removing the residue?

This was supposed to be a complete dealer job. I would assume they used a rubber wheel for removing the excess residue left from stock spoiler. Whatever they did though did leave some swirls on the deck lid. I washed the surface with dawn prior to affixing the new spoiler, then went over the area with ipa and finally some 3m adhesive promoter. Once the spoiler was on I went over everything with a light swirl compound and finished with a polish.

Installed the Dinan intake. Quality is exceptional and it was a really enjoyable install. I love being able to now hear the turbo spool and wastegate.

Is the sound improvement significant? I've been planning to buy this in the spring once the weather allows for window-open driving

Quite significant, before I couldn’t hear the turbo out all unless I had the window open and I was driving next to a building. Now I can hear it all the time even with the windows closed.

How long did it take to get? Was it back ordered at all?

I ordered it at the beginning of NOV and it was backordered until early DEC. Dinan should have stock available now.
