They are well known to have the same or better cold-bite than the stock pads. Not so with the is1500s. Performance trumps dust, for me, every time. Countless is1500<>is2000 comparisons in the G80/G82 forums.
I didn’t want to remove any factory performance and the is2000s don’t, at least not on the street. They do dust, but it’s still way better than stock. I couldn’t believe the stock dust on my wheels after the 10mi drive it took me to get the car home from the dealer, driving like a grandma!

Installed the 2000s over the weekend. So far dead quiet and although the brake feel is different (i.e. more linear in sport setting) the stopping performance seems at least on par with OEM. Too soon to report on dust but hopefully will be an improvement. My main concern was noise not dust. Definitely recommend!
