So anyone in the US, or the Tennessee area, had this update yet?

I think you need to lock the car and walk away for a while. Monitor the upgrade progress from the phone app. And assuming the car has cellular data where you leave it parked.

You need to make sure your battery is fully charged (install won’t start if below a certain threshold), your car is parked on level ground, and parking brake applied.

Go for a good 30 minute drive so the battery charges up, then try.

These updates seem to be so minor you aren’t missing out on anything.

If anything BMW seems to be locking things down more, for example the previous update prevented disabling auto stop via BimmerCode. You can still make the edit via BimmerCode but it no longer works. Auto start stop will still be enabled.

Only (mostly minor) changes I have noticed is that the built in nav has a bit more color, some of the speedo type fonts changed slightly, and there was an issue with CarPlay nav apps displaying wacky locations (seemed like incorrect GPS readings) that is fixed now.

The important thing about getting every update is that they are normally sequential, meaning that if you miss one, you’ll not get anymore.

Reference the auto start/stop, I’ve got the latest in my M240i (MY23) iDrive 8 and after reapplying the coding via BimmerCode the auto start/stop remember last setting still works (set to off & it remains off for every trip).

Got mine yesterday. Not a fan of the font as in the cluster it looks fine, but on the HUD, they seem a bit squished (vertically) and it creates a mismatch between the dash and HUD. Also I noticed a small black rectangle contour around the speed limit info. I don't think it was there before.

The new update does not permit the B&W sound. The legal disclaimer came back. The more updates the less we have to code.

Sometimes you need to re-code things after an update.

Seems like some sort of app caching issue?

Nope, the updates from BMW can overwrite the changes we make using bimmercode. Due to that you sometimes need to go back in and make those changes again with bimmercode.
