The photos are ridiculously good, nice build man. The coilovers alone are dope lol. I have a 2008 135i n54, sadly its an e88. At the same time im excited to drop the top but its rain season in CA. Hopefully when my build starts coming together i can get some quality photos like these. Extremely beautiful car with just as good photos!!!

Stormtrooper white with the perfect background for the car. Best G87 shots and I don’t even like the G87 but these photos are showing with the right light(s), it’s nice.
The side view and the ¾ are especially nice.

Impossible to clean those wheels. BBS-inspired. How do you guys keep them clean? Even putting ceramic on that is a serious finger numbing work.

I love it overall...especially since its a 6mt. Love the wheels too..but I might have liked them better if 20's and maybe a little darker. But overall...its close to perfect.

Thanks! yeah the limited color options for these cars are disappointing.
silver would be awesome. I know the Jan 2024 builds now have frozen silver, which is pretty hot

Awesome, hope to see some nice progress on that build! Plenty of great photographers in CA that can make it happen too.

It's annoying but not too bad. I use Adam's polishes wheel cleaner that I spray, then pressure wash. Gets them about 90%. once I get ceramic brake pads and then ceramic coat the wheels, it should be even easier!

Thanks!! yeah BMW did a horrible job with their promo photos for this car. but certainly just lowering the car a bit and spacing the wheels makes it way better overall. rear is a bit goofy to me still but I don't mind it.

And yeah the wheels are less than ideal to clean but a good wheel cleaner and pressure washer go a long way

I know this build is not for everyone and the wheels are quite polarizing, however I wanted to go for a Modern/Vintage approach to pay homage to the E30 M3.

- HRE 501 (21x11 rear 20x10 front)
- KW V3 Coilovers
- MHC/R44 Carbon front splitter, side skirts and rear diffuser
- CT Carbon trunk lip painted matched alpine white
- M.A.D single mid pipe and axle back exhaust
- PPF/Tints/Ceramic coat

M Performance parts

- Steering wheel
- Carbon front inlets

Coming soon

- Short shift kit and perhaps a new shorter clutch pedal
- M4 CSL steering tune (even in sport +, I feel the steering should be a little tighter feeling)

I haven’t done any power upgrades as I don’t feel the need to for now.

The M2 can really look beautiful case and point, all it takes is someone with great taste. And you just made me fall in love with the M2. This is how I would build an M2. So clean. And one of the only ones without the Edward Scissorhands front and rear M Performance side splats. Pictures are gorgeous.
