If you are doing high flow down pipe and after market axleback resonated may be a good idea. If keeping oem dp and ab then not resonated.

Personally did their EL not resonated.

If going with Catless DP, would the single non-resonated midpipe be too raspy?

Single is more mellow and less raspy than EL. Smoother tone. But if doing catless dp I'd still consider resonated.

You could also go with our resonated Downpipe.

We will have some midpipe options coming out shortly as well.

How is the fitment? Any washers or screws needed to prevent vibration?

Fits perfectly. No issue after a few hundred miles.

I just want to know why they are charging sooooo much for a midpipe - I miss my JDM days and pricing lol.

AA EL perfect fit. I did have a odd rattle of sort on cold start with valves closed. Gave it a week and put it back on the lift. Found the heat shield touching one area. Once that was addressed rattle gone.

Valves closed its pretty much oem. Engine sport mode it gets rowdy, sport plus is surprisingly louder especially trans in d3.

I had the same experience on my G82, gave it a week, then fixed the install. Never had a rattle issue again

Ask mike@x-ph.com here in the chat. He broke it down for me a bit when I called in (had to do with the way they are manufactured). Ordered the AA EL the next day from him. The pricing is high for AA but from the reviewers, sound, and feedback…I think it’s worth it. Awaiting my shipment now, very excited to slap her on.

Shouldn't. Not touching primary cats that reside in the down pipe. I would check with the installer for issues if this happens as there should not be any reason.

the EL does not have any sensors connected to it, so you should not get a check engine light.

Start by getting the code

Had my single non-resonated installed today. Have a very slight rattle on cold starts, goes away pretty quickly but probably will take it back up to the shop to have it adjusted
