I just don’t think it’s the full list - modified front bumper/lip and trunk are without doubt coming and seen in spy photos and not listed here. Auto only no surprise, but RWD is awesome and that’s a big positive IMO.

If my F87 is any guide, it will have many of the M Performance carbon bits as standard, including rear diffuser…assume that’s all in cards.

Would imagine the interior has much more carbon and likely some unique seat option/setup.

The rest is the CS badge and options...
The 8 speed auto option for this car is $0 according to BMW's website.
The buckets, roof, interior trim are likely packaged and priced accordingly at $10K.
The wheels are $6K.
Steering wheel is $500.
Additional power tune, who knows? Don't know what else is done to the motor, could be better internals or could simply be a tune.
The difference will come from suspension, carbon hood, trunk, interior bits. Maybe the seats will be the CSL ones out of the G82, could be optional, who knows? All in all, I would venture its six figures.

I sure wish there will be an AWD M2 with that engine in a near future.

You can throw around the rear easily with the xdrive as well as adjust settings, I’d rather have the option to make adjustments.

The M2 CS is coming in a non de-tuned version lol and probably makes the same HP as the M3/M4.

Other than that I’m glad they are selling M2 well.

Currently1st on the wait list at my local dealership. CA claims he’s pretty sure they’ll get an allocation…let’s just say I’m optimistic. But, who knows…the long wait game begins

Shouldn’t the 525hp version and auto only signal it is the 480lbft of torque version as well? 70lbft will make a difference

525hp - That's a hefty upgrade over stock 453/473. I wonder how much real horsepower that is since we know the standard 23/24 model make 470 at the wheels, which is coincidentally around 525.
RWD - that is great but to be expected. I wouldn't want a AWD M2 CSL to compromise dynamics.
Automatic transmission only we already knew this but it still is sad. I wish BMW took note of what Porsche did with the GT3 and make it manual again.
Wheels off the big brother CS/CSLs that's disappointing as these can be purchased elsewhere. I would have wanted a unique wheel design for a unique car.
Carbon roof I sure would hope so on a six figure M2.
Bucket seats See above
Alcantara steering wheel as standard Not everyone will want that but that's fine, I think it adds to the sporty touch of the car and makes it more unique. There's just a lot more upkeep than the standard leather.
Likely to be available in Brooklyn Grey, Sapphire Black, or BMW Individual paints with full leather interiors only (black or black/red) you would hope that for a special car, there's special colors. The M5CS had that flat green, maybe the M2CS will have something unique to the car.

Just from this info, it really seems lackadaisical. I was hoping there would be more details on the unique CS items on the car. But for what it's worth, we're still a year away from production. I want that trunk though.
It's actually 530PS, so same power really as the M4.

No individual colors, but one special positioning color.

Meh - I'm more than happy with my current M2, that I picked up for the low price of $68k.

With a 2023 M4 CSL costing CAD$209K on-the-road in Ontario (https://www.bmwaurora.ca/en/new-cata...-base--id21637), are you willing to pay likely CAD$175K for an M2 CSL if it was produced?

Maybe I missed it but was there any mention of the CS weight? I wonder if it will be a bit lighter that the M2 base models.

i dont think it will get the ADMs people are thinking. unless it has a significant weight loss or they restyle the bumpers. i doubt either of those happen
