1. Rear lights are horrible
2. Head lights are not horrible but make the car look cartoonish / childish for lack of a better adjective
3. Dont like those two right angle triangle vents on either side on the M240i. Maybe if the inserts are also black instead of silver - may look better.

Say what you want about the looks - Good luck selling an affordable enthusiast car without a manual. I just hope they fix the styling and transmission for the M2

Interior looks similar to G2X series no big changes thanks God someone in design department saving the front grille.

the leaked photos made the car look a lot better than it is from the press photos. This car looks really awkward in both the front and rear. I think the G20 is easily the best generation switch than the rest of the line up.

Yeesh. Exterior is not what I expected, looks very... plain?

Interior is exactly what everyone expected aka the exact same interior (literally) as G20, G22, G30, X3, X4, etc.

Mechanics - YES!
Interior - YES!
Exterior - Oh god, NO!!

Front lights are too small, and the tail light design is too fussy! I shouldn't complain too much though - at least it doesn't have the hideous grille from the 4er!

What's really bothering me though - 3800lbs?!? For a compact coupe? This is 5er weight from 1 generation ago!

BMW doesn't make cars that suit me anymore! Their sales are as strong as ever though, so you do you!

Purple Scion FRS maybe?

That's not a positive or negative statement btw..

I think it looks decently sharp if you're into the compact/coupe performance-y cars..

This is a great alternative for those of us who want a powerful and fun (short wheelbase) AWD platform without needing the size or track prowess of an M4. My M340i is lovely but I like a small coupe and this is essentially the same as my G20.

I want these wheels. Which ones are they?

I don't think they will fit the current generation

Just thought I'd mention that

I prefer the styling of the f22/23 personally, but this is still leaps better than what what they did to the g8X.

looks a bit much like a brz, but i do love how much wider they made the car at the fenders. That was my biggest complaint of the f22/23. finding wheels i liked that fit were hard.

I don't see a point in upgrading just yet, as I already have the b58 and zf8 LCI, but I'll change my mind once they release it with the S58.

Another hard pass.. Look the interior is nice and the power bump is great but the exterior is awful. The front is just weird and the rear is even worse. I'm sorry but it's ugly.. Plus it's heavy. 3900 lbs. Why? Come on BMW what are you doing to yourselves? If I saw one of these on the road I'd mistaken it for a KIA. :

Um...... that's a big NO!

Ugh what ever happened to classic tasteful design!

This crap is straight from freshmen out of design school! Nothing is working together, the grille has no harmony with anything around it.

It's interesting for two seconds then it's flat out ugly!

Yea auto design can change and mature but this is like Honda Civic, fast and furious kid body kit crap.

I'm sure each detail is cool on its own but as a cohesive design this falls and trips over itself again and again.

Sad to see such great engineering is wasted on something so um...... can't even go their.

But as always design is just about taste is subjective and what looks like crap to me may be someone's unicorn. But yea theirs not enough lipstick on planet earth to change my mind!

now if only we could get a full leather interior... dress up that dash and doors.... make it a premium small interior and I bet you'd have 30-50% uptake on the option. but then not sure why anybody would buy a 4er.

Huh? Looks like they fit the G42 which is what matters here.
