Does anyone know if the Seiko boutique on Madison give discounts? I’d like to get a sbp051 or 053 but I don’t want to pay $1k. Or for that matter any other Seiko AD’s in midtown nyc that would discount.

Hey guys got my super dome sapphire and ceramic bezel insert combination from Daggaz. Would highly recommend it for the skx007.
Everything is in, Just waiting on my submariner beZel from yobokies. It looks amazing already. Also cheapnatostraps.com straps are definitely higher quality than I expected for $10. |

I have three Seiko divers, SRP777J1 New Turtle and the two in the picture, sorry for the crap quality picture I took last night.
Interesting is the SPB053J1 to the left is changing date clockwise, the MM300 (017) anticlockwise because they have different movements. 6R15 on the left, 8L35 on the right. The left one I regulated to running 4s fast/24h, the right one I could not because it has a bathtub monobloc case and you load the movement via the crystal. +6.6s/24h (almost COSC lol) I'm in the watchbusiness fwiw. Cheers Robin

This is the one that got me started on Seikos. It was a graduation present from my parents from Basic training in 89.
I have replaced the gaskets, bezel, crystal and put a new bracelet on it.

Just received my Sarb033, and I love it, I changed the bracelet, and put it on a Barton Navy Blue canvas strap. Looks nice, and simple.

Found an original 1981 model 150m Pepsi diver locally for $60. I should have it Tuesday or Wednesday.

Picked up a Seiko SSC376 a little while ago. Solar powered, looks vaguely like the vintage watches I usually wear, and keeps excellent time.
Been using it when I don't want to risk my usual (and rare and expensive) Omega for rough jobs. |

Just picked up a blue dial turtle at the Seiko headquarters for $145. They had a one day clearance on some Seiko pieces. When I saw the matte blue dial, and blue bezel, it caught my eye. It's a divers watch, so there typically above the 40mm range. However, this one doesn't wear that big in my opinion. Maybe because my wrist size is 7 1/5 inches. I'm not a fan of big watches, my SS Submariner is my size limit. However, I decided to give this watch a try, and the price was right to take a shot at it.
