Not to be THAT guy. But I'm not sure you guys are the first. Another shop did it 2-3 weeks ago. So unless you guys finished it before that, and only just posted yesterday... Then you wouldn't be the first

At the end of the day, who really cares who did it first in another country. Give credit where credit is due. This is a monumental task & a very sick machine that was executed well. Can't wait to follow this build for more updates & see what the X-drive G87 M2 is truly capable of on both the drag strip as well as the track.

I mean. It's kind of a big deal to claim first something (especially something this big). If we aren't 100% if that's true.

Oh I agree. It's sick as hell, regardless if they're #1 or #2. R44 always does awesome stuff. But just pointing it out. Since the first company/shop to do this deserves a lot of props for being well, the first. (I've seen the one I have in mind run in person, and saw it the day it was done) So I feel it's reasonable to want to be sure who did it first! It's a pretty big deal to be able to claim first for something like!

Before this thread gets derailed, lets try not to do that or take it there. Winning a gold medal & being judged by a panel in the Olympics, has nothing to do with who was #1-3 in making an X-drive M3. I don't think anyone is keeping score of these "worlds first" things.
Swapping a bunch of parts from other cars isn't rocket science, this only has one custom piece that anyone can get made.

I truly prefer the feel of the G87 vs the G82 without question
