Have you taken the M2 to a track? It has a significant amount of body roll.

If you track, getting the best coilovers you can afford with spring rates that suit your driving style is best. Use anti-roll bars to dial in the final balance of the vehicle. We have yet to find any need to add anti-roll bars on the F8X/G8X we set up at our shop.

Agreed on track, but daily use no need.

I took another G87 on track and it had some roll. Would for sure throw them on if I tracked it.

Did any of the folks on this thread install sway bars? How were the results?

I'm looking at doing the H&R sway bar just in the front and am curious if that'll reduce roll without adding understeer. In general I'd worried stiffening up just the front would induce understeer.

On BMWs, adding a stiffer front bar can actually bring a lot of neutrality and slight oversteer. Did wonders on my 135i.

That said, I'd need some confirmations on the G87 platform.

Ride quality will generally suffer with stiffer bars. Less independent suspension effect.

Jackie Ding's last few YT videos suggest the H&R swaybars were detrimental to overall handling on his G87:

Yep - traction can suffer, as again, there’s less independent suspension effect. 100% completely depends on the vehicle and the bars and the rest of the suspension setup.
