Thundernight
M Performance (Not the shadowline)
19" M Double-spoke cerium grey Wheels
Black/Blue stitching vernasca
Aluminum Tetragon
Premium Package
Parking Assistance Package
Drive Recorder
Remote Engine Start
Illuminated M Trim
Harmon Kardon
M Sport Brakes with Red Calipers
Everything is the same except:

1. My order has blue calipers. I thought red would clash with purple.
2. My order has Active Cruise Control. Would probably never use it but it's cheap so I optioned it.

VIN: 3MW53CM02N8C47670
Thanks, mine has the adaptive cruise as well. I think either color caliper would look good actually and it looks like that is the only difference between our builds.

I wonder if this is worth the hassle of even trying to get my dealership to do. It's only about 3 weeks difference. They might not even go for it. I'm just so sick of waiting for a car. Been waiting for my M3 since June and now my M240 as well.

However, I have seen some people just fly by those last assembly steps in just a couple of days. I hope yours doesn't get stuck like mine did!

Oh. 3 weeks can be very different due to supply chain.

I was one and half weeks behinds production (10/02) others on the forum that got the car many weeks before me.

My production start was week 42. Went to Quality Check week 46 and hasn't changed since. It is now week 50 with no idea when it will move from this status or delivered.

You gave it good luck, it just went to "ready for transport"

Mine got bumped from production next week to mid Jan so I'm really trying to get my dealership to swap with Dallas.

Do you know if yours is still available or still attached to your name?

And you did do the Cerium Grey wheels with performance non run flats right?

It just shows as AG Standard Wheel and Tire which I thought was odd.

Thank you

Dealer knows I'm not buying the car. They gave me my deposit back last Friday, December 3rd. I just deleted the car/VIN from my mybmw.com garage. Dunno if that makes any difference.

Yes it has cerium grey wheels with performance tire. Car went into production last Wednesday, December 1st.

Great thread. I just ordered mine and received my production number today. I'll ask about the specific week in a couple days when my CA is back in the office.

I am right there with you. Ordered 10/27 and entering assembly line is the latest update.

Unfortunately it's anybody guess. No CA nor BMW Genius has an answer. It will take as long as it's going to take.

On the other hand, I just found out that a change in tires (from all-season to performance, but on the same 791M wheels) I had requested weeks ago, before the car entered production, was not in fact made by my dealer. My CA sys they will address this when the car is delivered.

Does any one know whether this change can in fact be made at the dealership? It seems straight-forward enough. Or am I in for some frustration?

It's tires, should be good, but get it on paper or in a email.

That's what I would think.

CA says he "will check in with my managers to find the best way to resolve this issue a little closer to delivery date."

I was told I can change the tires after delivery, but they cant change the lowered top speed limiter that comes with the a/s runflats over the performance tires after the fact.

Well, the good news there is that the likelihood of my needing to worry about reaching the top speed limit under any circumstance is somewhere between zero and nil!

Yes, same here. Even tried different browsers just to be sure it wasn't an issue with Chrome.
