And I thought the leaks were the most unflattering pics possible… these have got to be the worst photos of the g87 yet

So which one is bigger. Pics don't really have the right reference points or show a comparison in the same plane

Geez, the G87 makes the E46 look tiny.

It was built in the new BMW Tonka Toy Factory in Mexico, on a Friday at that!

With all the weirdness about the design of new m2, I have high hopes for its performance. After many years of driving "lame" cars (I should not call my m5 lame, but lack of driver/car/road connectivity drove me nuts!) I'm looking forward to my next manual m2.

The last bmw that I really really really enjoyed driving was a 2011 1M, and hopefully this new car will resemble that(hopefully!)

I've been defending the g87 since day 1…..but god damn…..that transition from hood to bumper is grotesque. I'm astonished this was approved by design. I don't know if I could live with that. Yes, it's only in certain lighting scenarios but when it hits it wrong, it's SO wrong.

Most of the time it looks ok though:

You are crazy. It's not the hood, it's the entire car.

Honestly these pictures show no issue. I literally only see an issue in ZB in direct sunlight and it's shitty pics lol.

If you are speaking about the angles of the hood and the front bumper, the designer stated that he did this on purpose to achieve a "bolted on" look. I hate it, especially when the light reflects on it and it stands out.

Not a rule at all if you expose your subject correctly and/or have fill lighting.

These photos are not great.

This is just outside of BMWNA headquarters in Woodcliff Lake NJ. They usually have a lot of cool stuff parked out there.

All of these are prototypes made months ago. Some have Jan 22 build dates.

That is my thought (and hope) as well. Prototypes might not have the best fit and finish.

I put together an interesting profile view of the E92 M3 and the M2. Lots of family DNA shared
