Hexis Mouse Grey S5430B

It's not exact but extremely close and using it on the sensores because theres a tiny black line around the edge its totally indistinguishable

the vinyl has no effect on the sensors, works perfectly

For anyone wanting to do this but arent sure, i reckon go for it, i cant imagine mine without it colour coded anymore, I'm positive they did this just to make the M2 more premium looking, the back looks sooo much nicer and coherent now.

Like I said i'm speaking to the people on the fence, i understand there are plenty (most) who prefer the black gloss.

the question is - what material (wrap film) can match Thundernight Metallic

Haven’t done this sort of thing before, but tempted to now. I think you said you removed the parts prior to painting. Can the paint work not be done without disassembling?

And are the sensors not paintable?

I like it a lot I have tossed around wrapping the black with carbon fiber, think it could look pretty cool if even just the rear wrapped in carbon.

Is there not a colour wrap in BG? Or does it not match the paint well enough?

Had mine painted by my body shop. They painted the sensors. Never had a problem with their operation. Thanks go to Cannockwolf for the idea.
