Seattle played very well, no doubt about that.

The seacheaters reference is in regards to the culture pete carroll allows and has brought with him from USC. from recruiting violations to how may PED suspensions on the seahawks? 3? To the constant holding downfield that the DB's are allowed to get away with. The DB's slap at the the WR's arms all the way downfield.

Exactly.

Pete Carroll did a very good imitation of Roman Polanski by skipping town before the authorities closed in... He's a dirtbag.

Good luck winning a Super Bowl with Kaepernick or Smith. NEVER going to happen. Just enjoy your mediocre successful seasons, because that is all it will ever be.

One. But the refs stole it and gave it to the Steelers.

The same refs that gave Seattle the game against the Packers?

Every once in a while they're saying that Akers has been playing hurt, but that Harbaugh just doesn't talk about it. Not that I want him hurt, but him missing field goals due to injury certainly beats missing field goals because he's lost his confidence.

The bye week will certainly help Smith get back some strength.

Yeah, Akers look like he is injured with some kind of leg injury. 49ers are toast in the playoffs if Akers can't make those 30-45 yard field goals. I doubt we can even get past the Packers without a consistent kicker.

Niners sign Billy Cundiff. Looks like Jim's older brother is dumping his garbage onto little bro

If Harbaugh likes Cundiff then I'm all for it, but obviously a switch needs to be made if Akers is missing 40 yard FGs. Akers confidence is in the toilet and hopefully Cundiff comes through.

Our defense isn't the same without Justin Smith playing tackle that's for sure.

I wonder if it's less the fact of Harbaugh liking Cundiff than it is a loss in confidence in Akers and the lack of available kickers on the market. I do like Harbaugh's move to not cut Akers though and have them both compete.

I do hope Smith regains enough strength to come back for the playoffs. We will need him

Ricky Jean Francois did look pretty good against AZ but then again it is the Cardinals...We needed the bye more than any other team in the NFC by far.

Cundiff...he missed that FG against Patriots last year that costed them the game. He might choke again in the playoffs.
