OK, take it easy there. I give the food a 10 and to me it's worth it for that but to be fair, I10 east of Houston really does suck. You have to drive over the causeway for a lot of miles and I don't know what the traffic is like there but I can't imagine it's dropped so my bet is that 70mph is optimistic. The speed limit east of Baytown is up to 75 now in Texas so that is a plus.

So to be positive, I enjoyed the St. Charles Street car and the plantation homes. That is really nice and worth visiting on a trip to NOLA.

It's my hope that everyone who comes to Austin on business or for a convention only sees the bad side of 6th street, along with the homeless shelter. That way, they don't get it in their heads that they need to move here...
