I think rather than the smart watch being the next big thing, it's the stepping stone to the next big thing. They can't jump from smart phones to human implanted tech. They need vehicles to carry the newly developed tech so it to can be researched and further developed. That, and they need to sell this new tech to support that R&D.

With a net worth of $350B, I'd have to agree.

I was debating between the g watch r and the moto 360 but ended up going with the moto. The quality looks much better plus the battery life after the recent update is great, I unplug at 730 am and the by the time I get home at around 830 pm I still have about 35% left. Plus, I love being able to download watch faces like Panerai, bell and ross, Rolex, Breitling, etc. I got a lot of compliments on it

So I have a question: would an Android watch be compatible with an iPhone and vice versa? Or is it only compatible with its own operating system?

I wouldn't mind getting Google Glass when prices drop down to say $500. They already did the ground work with different frames to make it more "fashionable" taking a page from Apple. I think the hat makes him more of a douchebag than Google Glass.

Yeah only Android. You got to pick a side. Unless you like Pebble or Martian.

I think it's 80% Google Glass, 20% the hat.
