Honest opinion on purses and jewelry: too expensive while also too easy to buy the wrong one (very personalized items) = high risk gift. Most of us here have done it. Unless you know the exact item that she wants I wouldn't do it because she may want a different one and then both of you are in an awkward situation or upset. |

Best friend but actually in many cases the boyfriend would work too.
I'm in flames today!

I bought my ex a Coach purse last year for Christmas. She pretended to like it, but I knew she didn't. We had to go back so she could exchange it for a much more expensive one....
TLDR: Don't take my gift advice. |

In my case, front lip, diffuser, interior parts, was picks if you know me well enough, and if you know me well enough to think of those, you'd know I've never had a purse I've used. Most women do wear jewelry, I only pearls. Actually I would want those for christmas/ any reason, but i just bought an exhaust system to my car so I will shut up about my needs for a while.

Sorry, I'm taken. I got lucky enough to find a perfect man and as long as he wants me around I have no use for others.

The age of the twins makes it tough.
My wife doesn't even know the rules for hockey, but I got 3 Kings tickets just behind the bench against the Flyers. She's never had so much fun while she was cold. The 3rd was for my 14yo son. |

Purse- Great gift for "Sorry I f***ed up" events. Awful gift for (positive) meaningful events.
Reasoning: When it goes out of style in 2 years and winds up at the bottom of a box in storage, it will be good when she forgets why you gave it to her. Supporting Information: Coach Purses....they were in style with 18-30 year old women about 8 years ago. Now, the only people that own them are middle aged overweight housewifes from Mexico. Michael Kors- Basically the next fad after Coach. They're standing on their last leg of being desired. My prediction: Tory Burch, Kate Spade, and Longchamps will be the next three to go out of style. Why I know: My girlfriend and I recently moved and were unpacking boxes...I found "The Purse Box." Working from top to bottom: Longchamps(2014)>Kate Spade (2012)>Tory Burch (2010)>Michael Kors (2008)>Coach(2006)>Dooney and Burke (2004) Ways to Avoid P*ssing her off: -If it's a brand found at TJ Maxx, Marshall's, or Ross....avoid -If the brand has a ton of Outlet locations...avoid -If it's build like a piece of s*** but has a $300+ pricetag...avoid -If it's being carried around by old women....avoid |
