You are on crack if you think Mayweather could beat any of top welterweight or lightweight UFC fighters in the octagon. Mayweather wouldn't last a round, he would get taken down, get stuck in a full mount and his face pummeled in.

I still laugh my ass off when James Toney thought he could fight in UFC. Toney got his ass beat by a 47yr old Couture, in less than a round.

And they wear 4oz gloves in the UFC, it isn't bare knuckle fighting. There are plenty of guys throwing punches in UFC much harder than Mayweather's midget ass.

No. It's not even a fair comparison. It's nonsense. What I'm saying is that if ANY UFC fighter took a shot to the face without boxing gloves from a real boxer, it would be lights out. Literally death or near death....just google Mayweather vs. Ortiz...he punched him so hard it hurts watching it.

I'm not talking about kicking, wrestling, etc...a punch in the face is what I'm talking about. No UFCer can handle a punch in the face from a pro boxer....none.

I wasn't being literal about people being killed but if someone gets hit with that much force in..in the face...well try it out..see how that works for you. That's why boxing GLOVES are used

You're not wrong, but the same would happen if UFC fighters tried to box. Starting to look like Pettis would annihilate anyone in the Octagon at this point. Looking forward to his next fight.

I don't see what there is to be so excited about. This fight should have happened 3-5 years ago. I wouldn't waste my money on this fight. This is why boxing is in the toilet. Probably the only 2 fighters the average sports fan could even name and they can't get a fight together until they realize there won't be any more big money fights except between themselves.

The most likely outcome would be, Pacman by KO, Pacman by decision (less likely), or stoppage for whatever reason. This will surely be a trilogy. There's just so much money on the table that the promoters won't milk from. I go Pacman all the way. But like the previous poster say, Don't get me wrong, I respect Mayweather for the skill but not the personality he's trying to portray.

on sportsbook websites the line is floyd mayweather favored -210 or -230. That seems like it is not enough for me. Manny P has lost a handful of fights in his career, Mayweather has never lost, both fighters are getting older, why isn't he a bigger favorite?

I'm actually passing by Vegas the day before the fight, i'm thinking of throwing down a bet on money mayweather

True that Manny took a lucky hit. If you play RPGs, it was "a critical hit!"

Untrue that Mayweather is overrated. He's seriously good. Taken on the same foes that Pacman took and got away relatively unscathed. His defenses, speed, and accuracy are top notch. What's truly amazing with "Money" is his ability to adapt to and learn his opponents ability in a short amount of time. This is almost as stupid as the haters saying "Le Bron/Kobe sucks." Watch full fights that Mayweather was in...not talking about biased cherry picked highlights.

True that Mayweather chooses his fights. However, a good portion of those fights were with notable foes that Pacman also took on but at catch weights.

Now, I'm not a Mayweather D-rider. I want Manny to win but his chances are low given their styles. If Mayweather proves to be a bit too evasive for Pacman, Mayweather dictates the pace and rhythm of the fight and Pacman loses. If Mayweather get's hurt, he's off his rhythm and Pacman will destroy him. At the end of the day, I would love to see Mayweather's face reconfigured as badly as what Manny did to Margarito regardless if Manny loses.
