Jeremy Clarkson did help to make Top Gear what it is today with his appearance... and that's it... I would not say he is Top Gear... there still are Hammond, May and "The Stig"... imho they should put him on ice for a whole season which might be good for him and his ego... ah yes, and start to review cars properly and not "Clarkson likes this car" or "Clarkson does not like this car"...

And just when I we getting excited about the LaFerrari, P1 and 918 matchup that was finally going to happen. I bet it was going to be part of the season finale.

Maybe it's part of a season finale show. Producer doesn't agree with Clarkson review; Clarkson smacks the guy. Put in on air rating will go through the roof.

He didn't get canned for the N-word controversy (on top of all the others).....he probably won't get canned for this.

Clarkson is a awesome host for the show, there is no doubt about it and I love the show. But he does go overboard a bit and shows his true colors. Basically, if you're not a Brit then you are a piece of trash in his world.

Top Gear

I'm sure many of you watch the show,

It would be a shame to see them lose their Orangutan

I think Ferrari is just delaying the 3-way race between the 918-P1-LaFerrari, lol.

Unfortunately Jeremy will not be coming back this season. All remaining 3 episodes will not be aired.

This is due to a financial responsibility and payment arrangement from BBC to Jeremy if he is shown on air. The BBC will not cut him out, rather not show them at all.m

Jeremy will return with hefty penalties, and caveats next season. He will also be required to sign a completely different clause for a short term contract (1-2 years)

This is what's wrong with the world. Let the ratings do the talking. I love Top Gear partly because of his antics; I don't want to see a censored Jeremy next season.

I don't really even care what he said or about whom. People need to stop whining and get a sense of humor.

Latest news, if the newspapers here in Switzerland are right... he punched the guy because his lunch did not arrive in time on that day... and no, this is not a joke.

If Clarkson really did hit a BBC employee because his dinner arrived late, I'll be disappointed. Regardless of the circumstances, this is great publicity for Top Gear.

What many don't know is that he recently sold his entire stake in the show. He's had enough and he doesn't give a shit. The BBC know that, and they also know that now he doesn't have a stake, he doesn't care what happens, he's only going to be a bigger pain in the ass from now on.

Personally, I do think its a case of going over the top (on behalf of the bbc), you can't make tons of money off of someone being a certain way, then suspend them when being that way gets them into trouble, its just stupid, plus thefact that everything Clarkson says is for effect, there are very few genuine racists left in the middle-upper classes in the UK, he loves to push his luck and butt up against authority, and don't we all?

There's more to this than meets the eye, and don't forget that the BBC will have to refund millions now to other networks who have paid for the now cancelled shows. It's a mess and there is a deeper reason for it than is being shown.

No. I like the guy but he's not particularly funny. You have to do more than just review cars on Top Gear.

Plus the folks at Top Gear can review cars in such a way that even people who don't give a shit about cars would enjoy and understand.

Where's the connection to "a car show" in my comment?
Illiteracy is a serious matter, people should go to school to learn text comprehension... Well, I think this is what the world is becoming, right "broda"?

Intentional or not, your comment inferred a connection between jwalker87's comment and an attitude toward slavery, and since jwalker87's comment was regarding JC's cavalier attitude... there's the connection.
