He was told right before his presentation that the crack BMW engineers had finally solved the mystery of how to make basic engine components last longer than 50k miles. It was just too much for him to handle.

Some say that the reason why he collaps during bmw presentation is because he heard sound of amg c63s coupe in distance! Who knows, right...

I would say to most of you that it was not funny especially when it unfolded right in front of you that most Of the audience thought he took a stroke or seizure?

I'd imagine not. I think most of us are making light of it now that we all know he's expected to be just fine.

I've seen stuff like this happen before. In my experience it's been related to exhaustion/dehydration.

So many jokes to be made, but in the end, I hope he's OK.

Fun was being poked after folks saw followup news that he was okay and it was nothing serious. I think a bit of levity is not outside the realms of propriety at such times. At least for me; when similar events have befallen my loved ones, laughing about it later felt pretty good.

I have had a similar situation when someone very close to me had the same thing happen and yes at first it's a very scary situation but once you find that the person is gonna be ok and it doesn't appear to be serious, we made light of the situation.

No one on here would seriously poke fun at the CEO if they felt it was serious so lighten up a little and relax we all hope it's nothing serious and that he gets well soon.

Hopefully there are no underlying issues responsible for this, I quite like the cut of Kruegers jib, and I think he's running BMW at a very exciting time.

Agreed, this is a no-joke situation. Hopefully he did not have a TIA, because the footage shows symptoms that are similar to one. I wish him only the best with his recovery.

Yes, because those two are EXACTLY the same thing...

But of course we have people with sticks up their asses. He's expected to be completely fine and was in good condition when he was examined by doctors. If it were something serious, I don't think people would be making light of the situation (at least I wouldn't). But yeah, that's EXACTLY the same thing has making fun of someone's son or daughter after having a severe medical episode.

Give me a break.

He's fine:

Quote:
Krueger has been traveling a lot lately and felt ill before the presentation, but still decided to go on stage, according to BMW spokesman Maximilian Schoeberl.

"His condition is not worrisome, they've ruled out anything serious," Schoeberl said.
http://mashable.com/2015/09/15/bmw-c.../#LmoKaP5nPZkN

Hence the joking comments. You'd swear in reading some of these comments that the guy had a stroke on live television or something.

More:
Quote:
A spokesman for BMW told ABC News that Krueger had experienced a "dizzy spell" but he is now "fine and recuperating." Krueger has cancelled his upcoming appointments, the spokesman said, adding that the chief executive does not have a health issue that contributed to the incident. Another BMW spokesman told the Associated Press that Krueger recently had a heavy travel schedule.
