Sharks looked little nervous and outclassed? But they settled down. Let's hope they roll in game two and Jones remembers he needs to stay in the crease. He's a goalie, not a defenseman. Stay in the crease. Stay in the crease.

I don't think they were outclassed...nervous and sort of Stanley Cup struck yes. Think the Sharks were taking in the moment and doing the "feeling out" thing at the start but the Pens were just ready to go and put a couple in the net. Jones played great--lets be honest, the Pens are most likely going to score 1 if not 2 goals every game...but we need to make sure we get 3 (or 2 if they have 1) every game.

I hardly think the Pens were dominating at all, just taking advantage of any miscue. As I've been saying if we have our best game vs their best game we will prevail. Last night the Sharks were well off a best performance and the Pens were not their best but were a hair better.

Naw, man, I saw it--the Pens being at home and having been in the big game just came out fast and firing. That's not to say we didn't have a chance....Yeah 2nd was Sharks dominating--the 3rd I thought we played a little better but the chances went back and forth...think it was really anyone's game. Honestly, to go back home with a split would be a success...Let's go Sharks!

Not looking good here...at this rate we might get swept. Would have been nice if the ref called that blatant high stick on Pavelski right in front of them that would have given a 5 on 3...but this is the Penguins.

There was a high stick that drew blood on Ward and one that could not tell how strong it was by Burns...but the Pavelski one should have been called. Yeah...let the rough stuff go (elbowing, border cross check...etc) but be consistent with high stick calls. Not saying that is why we lost. Penguins outplayed. But that could have been a momentum changer.
