Win some, lose some. I'll leave the thread as an example of what not to do / how quickly one can fall.

Fortunately, there are a surprising number of Canadians on here so Canada's reputation ought not to be too terribly besmirched by my lapses in judgement.

In fairness, he's almost like a transplant in a way...I feel like America should share some culpability on that front. He would not be where he was if not for the amount of US girls buying his crap.

He still has a birth certificate from our friendly neighbors to the north... Tainted syrup is my guess... Or Canadian bacon...

I read this article awhile back which made me chuckle... Some witty writer said -

"1994 - the year Mrs. Beiber gave birth to her 401K program..."

We'll trade you ALL the kardashians for beiber... Call it even...

Dude... I just remembered... You are also responsible for Drake...

Unfortunately for you, there is no native indian in my background, therefore, shiny baubles will not cause me to accept this terrible deal.

Bieber is but one, while the Kardashians are many. How many, I don't know, but it seems like there are many. You keep your Kardashians, and seeing as how Bieber likes the US so much, far be it from me to infringe on his freedoms....you keep him too. Now that's a deal I can stand behind!

And the Drake thing...I thought we had put that behind us. Not kosher, rehashing past sins.

There's evidently a lot of interest in this question, which I find kind of odd. At least, I find the use of the word "stubborn" to be odd. I don't think anyone looks at someone else and goes "oh yeah, you're really hard to convince, that's hot." As with everything else, it's good in moderation. Yes, you should have your own opinions. Yes, it's good to feel strongly about things. Of course, you should also be open to hearing other perspectives.

It really depends on the context. Are you being "stubborn" because you've done a lot of research into this topic, and you're willing to really fight for your point? Or do you just need to be right to be right?

I had a whole argument with someone the other day who self-admittedly is not a car person and doesn't know much about them. However, this person absolutely REFUSED to consider the idea that people might prefer the ATS-V to the M3. "Sensationalist journalism," "impossible that Cadillac could be better than BMW," etc. That, to me, is unattractively stubborn.

TL;DR: Don't be a spineless pussy, but don't be an ass just for the sake of being an ass. Is that something we didn't already know?

This person was right. Only a blind person would prefer any Cadillac over a BMW. Actually, only a blind person who has to wear full finger gloves when driving. Because if you have to look at the Cadillac and touch the inside of the Cadillac, you'll always prefer the M3.

Any rebuttal you come up with is futile because there are not two ways around this issue. BMW > Cadillac

#BMWrules, #BMWforlife, #BMWdroppingpantiessince1956

(I hope i made it clear enough that i was being an ass just for the sake of it. )
